This was the second time we used Mr. Electric. The service is excellent, cost is reasonable and are always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Honest and reliable service!

Dimitri did a fabulous job on our kitchen backsplash! We chose a white subway tile in brick pattern and a herringbone design above the stove. We are thrilled with the finished product and the turnaround was only two days which was amazing! Proffessional from start to finish and my kitchen was spotless when they were done. His name is Paul A and he totally screwed us. Don't believe the other reviews. We believe they are written by his relatives/friends. He is not to be trusted and is a very smooth talking con-artist. It started as a good relationship. After the demo was complete and he received his first couple of payments his crew started to show up less and less during the weeks. We started to notice that the work was sloppy and corners were being cut. The last straw was when he attempted to lay laminate floors on our very uneven basement floor without leveling it first. No joke it was like walking on a trampoline not to mention the laminate was all scratched up. He made excuses for the work saying "don't worry if you leave it for a few months it will flatten out" etc. etc. We made it very clear how unhappy we were and that this work was not acceptable. He pretty much bailed when we made him take up the floor and he realized that most of his profit would have been eaten up when he would have had to do it properly and to code. After this barely any work was done and it was excuse after excuse. Shortly after he took off to India and never came back or contacted us. He has since changed all of his numbers and disconnected him home line as well so we have no way of contacting him. He owes us approximately $5,000 for work we have already paid for and that is not complete. This was money that we worked very hard for and saved over a long period of time. We hired him under Unique Basements and he has now changed his company name to Unique Basements and Builders Inc. and his website is: www.ubbinc.com. We found David on homestars.com and from day one he was very honest, fair and punctual. He removed our existing ceramic floors and installed slate tiles in our kitchen, foyer and side entrance. We couldn't be more happy with his work! Our kitchen looks fabulous!! One thing that was truly impressive was that he made us feel comfortable, walked us through the whole process and lived up to his promise not to be finished until we were 100% satisfied. We would not hesitate to recommend David to family and friends. THANKS DAVID!!
