I purchased a sofa, coffee table and chairs from them a few months ago. I m happy with the wide selection of furniture at home quarters. The price and quality are good. They also have friendly and knowledgeable staffs would spend time to listen to my concerns.
I bought a ram from ncix a few weeks ago, but I found out I bought the wrong one a day after I purchased it. I went to ncix to exchange the item the next day, but I was charged a 15% restocking fee for opening the item. I am not satisfy with their service at all. The item was not sealed when I purchased it. There was just a clear tape on the cover only.
rented truck service for moving
i rented a pick up truck to transport small items, a bed frame a double mattress to my parents last month. cost is fair. They also offer me a few moving boxes for free. it is cheaper to rent a pick up truck instead of getting some people to just move a few small items and bed. The best is they let me to rent it for an hour as my parent's home is only like 10 mins drive away from my new home.
i hired K.K. Yuen last month to do the inspection of my new condo. His charge is really reasonable and did a great job inspecting my new home thoroughly. got a cd with pictures of what he inspected, like oven, washer, dryer, windows and etc. he also gave me a binder with print out and comments of the inspected home. i am ok with the service and ok to refer my friends to him.
this store sells little bit of furniture, liner and decor. i bought a few picture frames with that back in 2009 and found out the picture frames were broken. i went there to get a refund, but they refused. this was the first time i got turn down for returning a defective item from a store. Their representatives were rude and gave me attitudes. A lot of stuffs there sold out at cheap prices, but again their qualities are the worst. never purchase anything from them
i purchased paint and tools at general paint in 2009 and 2010. They have a good selection of paint and tool to choose from. they also have membership deal which you get discount once you sign up as a member. I would say their quality of paint is better than home depot or rona. Price might be little bit more than what home depot or rona would offer though.
i hired karn last Dec because of a washer leak. I got his information by surfing the net in richmond bc. Because i was quite afraid of the leak, i called him at 11:00 pm late at night. He was friendly. He didn't complain that i called that late. He offered me to come to my place the next day to check. initial consultation was free. he found out the problem quickly. He replaced the parts for a washer. It only took him about 10 mins. The labour cost and the parts were like $50 in total. i think the charge is pretty reasonable. although he didn't give me an invoice, he placed a sticker with his company name, address and phone number on my washer. i would hire him again in the future
purchased coffee table, sofa and bed frames from mobler furniture a year ago. The quality of their coffee table and bed frames were excellent, but there weren't too many selections to choose from. they offer fast service for delivery. i was happy that i didn't have to wait for shipment as most furniture store usually takes 3 months for a shipment of sofa or other furnitures. overall, i am quite happy with their furnitures.
recently rented a storage from them. location and services are good. i also like the access hours. I got 1 month free storage rental from them as a promotion. The manager there did a great job recommending different sizes of storage. i will continue renting storage with them. great service.
kitchen cabinet installation and purchase
i went there to purchase a kitchen cabinet and request for installation service back in 2009. The owner there was so nice to offer me free in home consultation and quotation as i had no idea how to give the correct measurement. The service was fast. i had that done in just 1 day. They had the kitchen cabinet that i wanted. well... i didn't look around to see what others offer... so i would say 3 stars for recommending the services
i think i am being overcharged by ADT as the price is a bit high compare to other alarm monitoring systems as their responses are really slow. One time my alarm sounded, they didn't give me a call until 15 mins later. i think i am about to change company.
this is the 1st time i purchase laminate floor from golden trim. I am impressed with their wide range selections and prices of laminate, hardwood and engineer floor. we recently purchased a new condo last month. we had shopped around in richmond to find a laminate floor that would match our new apartment. The sales manager there is patience and nice to introduce different types of laminate floor to us and offer us samples of laminate floor to bring home to match our wall's paint. i would recommend this company. although i have used another laminate floor supplier/company before, they don't have any styles of laminate floor that i can choose from.
i have used their services twice. They offer huge selection of good quality of laminate floor, engineer floor and hardwood floor. They also sell moulding as well. I bought laminate floor 12 mm from them in 2009 and 2010. The manager there was very nice to give me suggestions and advices on how to protect our laminate floor. we ended up also use their contractors for installing the laminate floor because their charges are very reasonable. They have done a very good job installing laminate floor. i was very happy with the service
