Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

AspenClean professionals are just that! They are thorough, efficient and cheerful. They will do everything that I request and do it well. I would highly recommend this company to my family and my closest friends.

I have taken five (5) classes from Black Sheep Design Studio. I feel the cost of each class is fair. Brenda is a very good and very thorough teacher. I always learn many new things each time I attend one of her classes. I come home with a completed product and feel confident that I can make more from what I learned. Her classes and instructions are easy to understand. She is so enthusiastic about her product and what she can do with it and she is a FUNNY lady. IF my mother were living, I would SO RECOMMEND this company to her. My only criticism would be that she FILLS the class with so many goals and expectations of her students that it is sometimes hard to keep up when you are as old and tired as I am!

What could this company do to improve their services?
ALWAYS give written instructions with EVERY class and with each new technique. Keep the number of people in one class to no more than 10 If possible, try to group people according to their age and/or ability.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Do some research from books, internet etc. on the project that you intend to make. Print off or bring a book with pictures of it, if possible. Or draw a simple sketch. Pick a setting or special location where your finished project will reside BEFORE you take the class. IE: Will the piece you make fit in the space you have in mind.

Thank you for your review. I fill my class with 12 people other wise I would have to charge more per student as when I travel I have hotel room, class room and other expenses. I always group students by beginner, intermediate and advance as this is the easiest for me to talk to them as a group to help them with their projects. It is very hard to give written instructions as everyone comes up with an ideas as they are building their piece. This is a way for them to see through their eyes and create their vision. When doing a beginner piece I highly suggest students do NOT come in with ideas and just let them see where it will take them. They are learning what paverpol is all about and how it works. If they come in with a pre concieved idea and they don't know the product it is some times disappointing as we can not do the piece that way in a beginner class. Once they know the product YES by all means come in with an idea and we can help execute it.
