10/10

After living with a builders grade bathroom for 16+ years, along with a ceiling leak due to poor sealing in the shower, I decided that a bathroom renovation of a 11X10 bathroom that included removing a walk-in closet and resinstalling it in a weird bump out in the master bedroom. First step was demo and finally getting rid of a corner bathtum that was only used by the kids when they were really little. We did not spend budget on superflous items i.e. heated floors, oversized soaker tub. Instead we chose to budget for higher end fixtures: lighting, faucets, curbless and doorless shower (which required a 6x8' pane of glass). I strongly recommend a curbless shower We did do the demo ourselves, afterwhich the JEC Prestige team came in and did their magic. James listened the wish list that I had and was great at suggesting materials and fixtures that would deliver on our vision. The rest of the team: James, Tarek, Connor and Jude got to work on all of the behind the walls infrastructure. They were professional, polite and open to chages that I made on the along with making pratical recommedations that supported the vison, but also kept me in line with the budget. They even gave me a tutorial on how to change a light fixture in a safe way. I can't say enough positive things about the team that worked on this renovation. I also want to stress that they were cautious and took safety into account along with following covid protocols i.e. mask wearing and keeping a 6' distance. As with most projects along with the added challenges of working during a pandemic, there were some surpises behind the walls, product delivery delays, the delicate work of cutting an intergrtaed shoer drain into one tile without breaking it. At the end of the day everything turned out amazing! The pitures speak for themselves. The ensuite bathroom has become an oasis for everyone to get away from screens and the heaviness of the day. I would highlighly recommend JEC Prestige and the team that delivered teh final product. We went with: 1 style of over-sized tile 48x24" arebascatto porcelien tile-
