Get their cost estimates before they come anywhere near you (and preferably in writing). They charged me $303 (+HST) for 50 minutes of work! Included: $95 for diagnostic service and a flat fee of $208 (!!!!) for a 15-minute installation of the thermostat. To be fair, the cheap thermostat (approx. $20) was included in the flat fee. No option to the flat fee was offered, nor was it explained to me before the work was done. This is a gross overcharge! Doctors should have it so good.
