Just moved in to a larger home to accommodate our growing family. Unfortunately a few sofas and chairs short of looking lived in. After all the boxes were unpacked we embarked upon what seemed to be a month long jaunt of discord and discontent on how to furnish our traditional look and feel living room. Plus 10 retailers of all sizes and types. One aspect became very clear, beware of the commissioned furniture salesperson. We found the staff at Consumers to be exceptionally knowledgeable of the product, very curious and understanding of the environment that we were furnishing. The chairs in particular were custom order, delivery took a little longer than originally expected and when we were unable to receive them immediately due to holidays, they held onto them for another two weeks. Another benefit, those custom made chairs were ordered and sold to us at the floor model discounted price.

Staff was very knowledgeable and really pushed the envelope of creativity. Maybe a little pushy in getting a sale but really no more or less than any rug retailer (shopped at more than 10 retailers). We ended up returning one of the rugs we purchased for our dining room because we chose poorly. Allan took it back, exchanged it for another, no questions asked.
