Before going with Kanata Granite we talked to quite a few other fabricators and their quote was the best in Ottawa. This is a family-run business that doesn't have salespeople or a fancy location which saves the costs. So although communication may be not as smooth as in the other granite shops, the quality of granite fabrication and installation are great. After we selected the granite slab at the warehouse, it took only a few days to get it done. Our slab had large patterns and several spots of mica, so the owner recommended how to place the cuts and the seam for better looks and durability. After measuring, the owner and his assistant installed the countertop the next day in just a few hours. Me and my wife are quite happy with our new countertop.
