Just had one of our leaky kitchen sinks permanently repaired by Dan at Rooter Guys. That means that over the years ... we've now had two toilets, and four sinks repaired by Rooter Guys, as well as having them INSTALL a bathroom sink, toilet and shower. They always show up on time ... give a fair price and do the job right the first time. Keep up the GOOD WORK Dan!

Last summer, we had hired a local firm for a huge upper home stucco application. Long story shorter ... they finished PART of the job and then folded! They took our money and ran! We found Exterior By Design last fall at a home show. They came in, finished the stucco job, made constructive suggestions, and fixed what the prior contractor had messed up. All within budget, and all 'on time'. A GREAT Job by David Bochner and his team!

My hustand and I were leaving for Hawaii on the early morning February 10, 2012. Our furnace stopped working on the evening of February 7th! We had an emergencey on hour hands! (We had people scheduled to stay at our home to 'house sit' while we were away) We called Boonstra's One Hour, and expained our problem, and the urgency. They had a technician our to our home the following morning. The technician (Mark) did a repair/tune up, and had the furnace 'purring' within short order. He put us on a one year maintenace program (we're covred now for a year), and the pricing was extremely fair ... actually less than the cost of a normal service call. We were extremely pleased with the office, the technican, and the cost ... and we were able to get away to Hawaii with piece of mind. We would (and now DO) highly recommend Boonstra ! They do what they say they'll do!

My husbankd and I purchased a Valour gas fireplace from Chadwick's and Hack's (at the Ideal 2011 Hamilton Fall Home Show). Prior to taking any cash deposit ... the salesman (James) made a personal visit to our home (2 days after the show closed), to check the dimensions of our fireplace opening. When he satisfied himself (and us) that the firplace was the proper size for our opening ... he assisted in the selection of colour and available options. We gave him a deposit .... and 3 days later, the installers called to set up an instal time. Two days after that ... Bingo! ... the istal was complete (including a new chimney liner) ... all within 2 hours ! This fireplace looks (and works) FABOULOUS ! This is our second 'major' purchase from Chadwick's & Hack's (we bought a Weber gas BBQ 2 years ago). We have alweays been extremely satisfied with the sales and service from this store, and would HIGHLY recommend them!

Award Windows (Hamilton) installed double screen doors for the rear exit from our home .... over french doors. They did a fabulous job matching the exact colour we were looking for, both on the actual colour of the doors, and the screening as well. These are the smoothest operating doors we have ever seen. The installer (Tom) was excellent. We highly recommend Award Windows & Doors in Hamilton!
