Ordered a 20 cubic upright freezer in Sept 2020, finally arrived today. The young men doing the delivery were very professional and very accommodating. It took 10 months to get it but CAS kept us updated every step of the way. Who knew the pandemic would cause a 10 month delay in 20 cubic freezers.

Don't deal with this Company. They do not stand behind their contract. Work was sub standard, it has been a year since the work was done. I was promised they would come back in the spring (2013) to fix the issues I complained about (2012). The 800 number which is the only contact number still in service is an answering service in the U.S. George the rep for the Ontario franchisee owner ( of Willno, Ontario) only called back after I threaten media attention. Last year (2012) George said they would start the work in 2-3 weeks, came home the next day and the work was done (suspicious don't you think, why do the work when i am not home). They promote Techniseal Polymeric Sand to seal the gaps between the stones, the sample George provided was as hard as stone it was labeled Techniseal, see the picture, a nail wouldn't pierce the sample, I was sold and signed the contract. If you see the driveway I have huge gaps where the sand was never placed or has washed out even the color is different. (Please see attached pictures) Within weeks the weeds were all back along with all the ant hills. Since I was not home they plugged their equipment into my neighbors outlet, without asking, she was upset, so was I. I am still trying to get resolution, should that happen I will revise the rating. Recently again after threatening media attention George called and advised that they had made numerous attempts to reach me. Funny...my voice mail system seems to work for all my doctor's offices, lawyer's offices friends and family, it just does not seem to work for when he calls. He has advised he will be back around Aug 20,20103 to redo the work, I asked for notice as to when they planned to come as I want to be home when they do the work and I received nothing but excuses. Why is it an issue for me to be home when they come back to do the work? I advised that they would have access to the water and he had the nerve to ask me to leave the garage door open so they could access the water, really?? I said no, stay tuned I will update in a few weeks if they come back and do better job. But for now they get ZERO!!!

What could this company do to improve their services?
Keep their promises, return phone calls.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Ensure that the business card has a last name and address. George's did not, only first name and 3 numbers. Ask a friends or family for a referral.

I had gotten many quotes, Better Contracting was one of the highest, but their reputation was the reason I chose them. Repair job was not done propeprly, they forgot to do certain things, had to call them back. Annoying, felt I had wasted my money. As a result damaged occured to my livingroom ceiling, which is plaster. Actually the ceiling has swirls all over it, a lost art form. Now I find myself with a damaged ceiling. Water running done the back wall of the house. Honestly getting through the front lines a Better Contracting was a challenge. But, when I did, Mike Graves sent his team out, admitted the problem was their fault, that kind of honesty shocked me, I tought I would be in for a battle. They repaired everything and then some. They noticed my vents at the back might be an issue they repaired everything at not cost to me. As for my plaster ceiling, Mike sent me Mario. Bit of challenge setting up appointment to get the job done. But honestly well worth the wait, Mario did an amazing job. He filled in the crack one inch at a time, the pattern on the ceiling is perfect. he painted the ceiling of the living room and dining room as they are really one space. He was neat and tidy. No mess to speak of. Mike Graves and his team were as good as their word. I would have no problem recommending this company to anyone or Mario either if you need plaster work..
