My tenant broke the window. I took the size, walked in and 20 min later walked out with exact copy of the broken window. Less $50. All this with smile and professional courtesy. I think this company deserves higher rating. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed. Would probably use them to replace windows in my house later on. They had some beautiful pieces of work on display (both - samples of glasses and wonderful mirrors) The only thing that was missing (don't blame them!) are pieces of frame for the glass window. They don't stock it, but there are plenty of stores around to buy them from. And there was no problem with parking around. Overall, I was very pleased to visit this store nearby.

Excellent service! They came quickly, identified the issue correctly and fixed it. Cannot wish more! On top of it very good communication at any phase before and after the fix.

I had excellent experience with Tom in the past and did not hesitate to call him again to install a fireplace at my location. Just like last time, Tom did an excellent job of installing and connecting new fireplace to the gas line. At the same time Tom has removed the old fireplace that was declared by authorities "unsafe" and could not be fixed any longer. Again, clean job and no corner cutting. Would turn to Tom again for any gas related work in the future. Highly recommended. He might not be the cheapest one, but if you want your equipment to work for ages, Tom is the right technician.

Paid $300 in February 2017 to patch the roof and another $100 to fix eavestroughs. Neither work was done. Attempt to reach the company to get money back or job done have failed. Phones do not answer, emails are not replied. I don't know what happened to this company, but it is virtually non-existent. Please, avoid embarrassment and do not use this company.

I have discovered that basement window enclosure was filled with sand, mud and completely blocked. Called DrainRightNow in to estimate the situation. It was determined that the whole install need to be redone. Turned out that pipe was not even connected to the weeping pipe. The work was done quickly, very professionally and in very friendly manner. Won't hesitate to use the company again!

I call plumbing services as last resort, mostly because those companies are expensive for tiniest works out there (most charge $90 just for the call) Advantage of Croistar Plumbing is flexibility. Small or big job will be done. Quickly, professionally, and very reasonably priced. I had main drain issue in my relatively new house. Andrei came to the rescue with special equipment and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. It was really impressive.

I hired the company to refresh the paint in my 4-y.o. house. The team made amazing job. And without my involvement at all. Everything was carefully removed from the walls, then placed exactly the same way as before. The work itself is very accurate. This is not the first time I use the company for relatively small renovation projects, but won't hesitate a second to call them for a major ones too. Truly pleasure to deal with and results beyond all expectations.

I selected Tom Bock among about 10 other professionals called in to install a new gas line through the crawling space in my house. Tom was the first who clearly explained what to expect, what kind of materials will be chosen and why, price structure and what needs to be done to satisfy building codes. Not only Tom made an excellent and beautiful job of installing a new gas line, but he also followed through to make sure building codes are complied with (e.g., range hood vents out, the cabinet clearance is at least 30" from the surface of the range etc.) The work was done very quickly and safety was my top priority (second one was price, of course!) I am completely satisfied with the work done by Tom and will not hesitate to call him again or recommend to anybody in the Barrie area.

Absolutely amazing company. The guy came to provide estimate for my broken porch window the same day i called. Suggested to bring window to the shop. I brought it in and it was instantly fixed. I don't dread from broken windows any longer. Now I know where to fix them if it ever happens again. Highly recommended!

With so many positive reviews my voice does not add much. However, I was truly impressed, as always, with service. My A/C unit stopped working properly and Mario came to my house within 3 hours of the call! The day is unbelievable hot and staying inside without A/C is a torture. Mario have found the problem and fix it in record time. 30 min down the road and my house is cool again. Terrific service, amazing timing and highly recommended.

I compared Lotus Tree Care with about 10 other local companies in Barrie. 3 were very close in price, but Lotus Tree Care had best communication, best price, excellent reputation based on reviews of others and had certification which was certainly a nice bonus to remove my 80 years old ash trees (they are dying in Simcoe county because of the bug affecting ash trees) Work was done quickly, professionally, without any mess or money vacuuming. 3 huge trees were removed like they were never there. No damage was done, though the company was fully insured (that was important point to me during selection process). This was quite a challenging job as 1 tree was split about 20 feet up and all trees to be removed were adjacent to the fence and house (see image) At any given time communication through phone, SMS and email was maintained perfectly. Moreover, James came to make an additional correction upon my request even after I paid all money. Very nice touch! I highly recommend this company.

It is 4rth year I am with Safetech Alarm Systems. The original wireless installation was proven reliable and quick. During my recent move, the same alarm system was transferred without a hiccup by Peter from old house into a new one. The whole experience was just few hours. Sharon (sales person I am dealing with) was quickly and professionally coordinated the move (installing at the new location) Few days after the move low battery on the remote has triggered attention of the monitoring center and service call was nice touch. I had more than one chance to verify that the system actually monitored. The service is always friendly, the cost is very reasonable and the whole system never failed in last 3 years. I have renewed my contract for the next 3 years based on my positive experience.

George came quickly, did job on the spot, provided nice tips about maintenance of my gas bbq and the whole thing took about half an hour (also installed support for gas pipe that was shaky) Will not hesitate to contact George again if needed for all my gas needs.

I was referred to Roger Frost by friend of mine who lives in Barrie and recommended Roger as nice, professional and fair home inspector. I was truly impressed by detailed explanations, honest opinion, detail-orientation and very well organized final report that was in PDF format and online for easy viewing. The report included inside and outside high-quality images of the potential and discovered problems with description and reference to what is the problem and why it is a problem. Roger is easy to talk person and was very patient with us providing precise answers to our questions. It helped us to make conscious decision about our deal. Roger maintains excellent communication before and, even more importantly, after the inspection. I will not hesitate to hire Roger Frost again for home inspection and highly recommend his services to any person in Barrie.

I was with ADT for quite a few years. Their sales team is one of the best. They can probably sell you air in your house and still sound reasonable. The nightmare begins when you need anything from them. Do not believe slogan 'it's good company" or 'oldest company on the market'. In case of security being oldest is not necessary good thing. When they installed my simple system (3 entry doors + patio door + single motion detector) for very reasonable $25/month with 3 year contract it was working few days, then alarm was going off every few days. Every time I called them to fix the "issue" they could not find it, while yet attempted to charge me for the call. Finally, one of the more experienced technicians discovered that original installer put screwed pair of wires inside of the duct. When warm air was going through, contact was naturally broken and alarm was going off. Once that was fixed, we lived in peace for several years unless I switched from Bell phone to VOIP. Strange code FC showed up on the panel, but I did not notice it as nobody called us about problem and system appeared to work ok (at least arm/disarm part) Finally, I got to the internet to check on that code and discovered that FC stands for "failure to communicate" which did not worry me much as sales person promised nothing can break ADT system. In case phone line is cut they will be alarmed right away. Well, that was not true. They don't. If you don't have phone line, they cannot monitor through traditional channels. I called ADT and they quickly acknowledged that there is no phone line, so they cannot monitor and even attempted to "apologize" for not calling me 2 months earlier (well, they did not forget to charge me!) Over phone they first asked if I want wireless "backup" for $200 and $45/month monitoring. When I refused, they offered $200 install of backup plus my current rate. While I still refused, we got into deadlock and I left ADT. Read reviews of others and you will be surprised to find stories about them out there. I won't look back as there are many young energetic companies out there that do job right for fraction of price.

Found SafeTech as an alternative to largest north-american company I was dealing with (now, looking back, I can see a lot of troubled customers with them.) They continued "service" even after my phone line disappeared and kept charging until I realized they cannot really monitor my system. SafeTech so far had excellent reviews and I can see why. The price is quite reasonable comparing to other companies. Monitoring is located in Canada, which is important give speed of response. They are able to monitor wirelessly as primary source (other company wanted $45/month plus $200 for additional equipment to serve as backup source, not a primary one) Sales person, most of us seem to deal with is very friendly and helpful. System sends emails when one disarms the alarm system, which is very convenient to monitor. The only little hick up is absolutely minor to me - I was hoping to be able to arm/disarm system via iPhone app ($160), but it appears that such solution will require a lot of wiring plus dedicated port at my router - something I was not prepared to. Other than that, entire experience was totally positive and pleasant.
