I started my research for a landscape company in January for my ready-by-summer project. I sent out many emails, and received many quotes, but Mike was quick to answer all of my questions (patiently!), and had what I felt to be a fair price (not the lowest, not the highest). Mike visited my home, where we discussed what I had in mind for this project. Since it was a newly-built home, the entirety of landscaping needed to be done. I was incredibly impressed with his level of customer service, because I know I asked A LOT of questions. Once the work started, though, everything started to go south. There wasn't enough materials, so we had to shell out more money to complete the work. It was a tough pill to swallow, but we realized where the honest mistake was, and went forward with it. When the work was done, it was sloppy. We had two little bump-outs of mulch/garden area on either side of the yard. They should have been the same on each side, but they were different shapes (one was squared off, one was rounded), and installed at different points (so they don't line up). Mike sent his guys back to fix it, and although the shape of it is better, they are still at different points and don't line up. When laying the top soil, they did tremendous damage to our newly-installed irrigation system. When we had the irrigation guys come back, they found several points where they had driven their bobcat on it and damaged it. The irrigation tech said that the guy driving the bobcat would have felt it break each time. The damage is was obvious, and was frustrating to see the complete lack of respect to our property. I could understand if he accidentally drove over it once and broke, but it was done multiple times. They removed EVERY SINGLE FLAG that noted where the sprinkler heads came up. Okay, fine, they had to level it out so maybe it was easier to remove the flags... but they didn't mark it in any other way or remember where they were. They tossed the flags, and when it came time to sod, they didn't know where to cut out for the sprinkler heads because they were all so heavily buried. They came back on 3 occasions to try to locate them. Finally, we brought the irrigation company in to find them. The sod is lumpy, and we have areas that puddle when it rains. The gate that use to open now has to be forced open because it catches on the uneven ground. This isn't huge - next summer we'll dig it up and level it out - but we thought we were paying someone to avoid these issues. In the middle of all of this mess, the office emailed their final invoice to me. Yeah, there was no way I was paying that until the work was 100% complete. It took several weeks longer than anticipated. The work was horrendous. It's done. It's not perfect, but it's done. We'll fix it up ourselves over time. The ONLY credit this company deserves, is having Mike on their team. I don't know how much of this was within his control, but every time an issue came up, he either responded immediately, or he was at the house himself to check it out. If the work was better, and the stress wasn't there, this company would have gotten an A+ thanks to Mike's hard work. His team, on the other hand, needs major improvement.

At a previous residence, we had seen how low-maintenance and incredibly effective an irrigation system can be. When we built our new home, we knew we wanted to put an irrigation system in. We met with Bradyn to review the work we needed done. He was honest about what we would require, and what would be a waste of money. When his quote came in, it was reasonable. We felt like the price difference between his quote and the cheapest from another company came down to the quality of work we had already seen in just our meetings. We scheduled Grizzly Irrigation in; they completed their work quickly, were organized and were tidy in their work. After a little bit of a mess up on our contacted landscaper's work afterwards, we had to bring Grizzly back in for some repair work. Again, the work was thorough and quick. We are thrilled with our new irrigation system and will be recommending Grizzly Irrigation to anyone that will listen!

We contacted Wayne amongst MANY other contractors to supply and install a chain link fence for our property. He was one of the fastest to reply, supply a quote, and was also reasonably priced. He kept in good communication and worked around our schedule. The work was quick, efficient and well done. Thanks Wayne and team!!

We used A Better Way Plumbing while developing our basement bathroom and complete the HVAC runs throughout the entire basement. My husband contacted Jason for a quote, which we got in a reasonable amount of time with competitive pricing. Jason was thorough in his review of our wants prior to starting. For this particular project, he and his partner (I can't recall his name - sorry!!) came to our house twice; once to bring in the water lines and HVAC in our framed-out basement and again to hook up our toilet in sink upon completion. Absolutely no complaints - they were prompt and thorough. We were also thrilled with Jason when- the day or two before Christmas- our furnace stopped working. I was envisioning a chilly Christmas in the house, but my husband called Jason (smart guy) and within a few hours it was fixed. We were so thrilled!! The bill for this after-hours call was more than reasonable as well. Right around the time we had the original work done (November-ish) Jason was arranging everything himself and seemed incredibly busy. Shortly thereafter, he hired an assistant to deal with his bookings and invoicing. Everyone we have dealt with that represents this company has been fantastic!! We have now moved to a new home, with yet another undeveloped basement and will gladly contact this team to help us once we tackle that project again. Thanks for all of your hard work!

We had A-1 Concrete pour a stamped concrete pad for our backyard. After some correspondence with the salesman (I WISH I could remember the guy's name because he was fantastic!), we arranged to have the work done. The salesman quoted 2-3 weeks before they could make it out just because it was the height of their busy season. Not a big deal - we weren't in rush. Get this...they sent someone out within a week! What a lovely surprise! The workmanship was phenomenal. The boys who did the work were at the house a few times throughout the day and also followed up to do some work during the week. When we had questions after the work was done and the bill was paid, they didn't hesitate to give the same customer service as we got since day one. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat!
