Kostas and Nick just completed a total renovation of the main bathroom of our home and we could not be happier with the job that they did. The bathroom had not been renovated since the house was builit in 1930. After a fair bit of research on our part, we decided a total gut job was requried. Pinnacle stripped off the plaster to the studs and brick, installed a new radiator across the room from where the old one had been, insulated the walls, applied new drywall, intalled new lights, replaced the tub, sink, medicine cabinet and toilet, tiled all four walls and installed a heated tile floor. We wanted the contractor who had replaced all the other widdows in the house to replace the bathroom window. Pinnacle was able to schedule that contractor so doing so did not cause any delays. We anticipated all sorts of dust and dirt from the demolition part of the job, but Pinnacle did a great job of sealing off the rest of the house and making sure that any mess was fully clea\ed up before they left each night. My wife had picked out the three types of tiles she wanted to use (porcelain and glass for the walls and a different poreclain for the floor), before we hired Pinnacle. After explaining the desugn she was after, Kostas was able to make some suggestions as to how to make it work in the available space. His input on the final design (based on years of experinece in the trade) resulted in a much better final product than would have otherwise have been the case. We had a couple of problems with suppliers (who we hired before we hired Pinnacle) who either provided materials later than promised or provided the wrong products entirely. While we were stressed out by the broken promises of these suppliers, Nick and Kostas remained calm throughout. They were able to work around these problems and even suggested effective ways to resolve them. Despite these difficulties, Kostas and Nick complete the job on time and on budget.. As the house is more than 80 years old, there is not a right angle in the entirle bathroom. As a result, we were concerned that the edges of the tile would be uneven and that gaps woudl be visilbe in the grout lines. We should not have worried. The grout lines are all perfectly aligned and so straight so you would never guess that the bathroom is not perfectly square. In short, if you need some tiling work done call Pinnacle. The quality of their work is outstanding, their prices are competitive and they are great guys to deal with. The only reason we gave them a 10 is that the Homestar rating system does not go any higher.. .
