It is hard to describe our feelings, when those "professionals" stopped working without any reason and left, taking with them thousands of dollars, paid in advance.
They damaged all 31 stair steps in our 3 story house (cut them off to a length not allowed by the Building Code). Later we had to rebuilt all stairs and remove the new hardwood, improperly installed in the middle of the living room. The cost of the project, which was already more then $10,000, had DOUBLED as a result.
And this is not only about the money...
I wish no one ever go through the same NIGHTMARE as we did, instead of happiness and joy, which we were supposed to experience after moving in our first house.
Imagine, that for 2 months, before we found the Master, who fixed all those damages, we had to live with unsecured hand railings and very short stairs (with a senior person and 5-years old child at home), with dust everywhere (allergic person in the family).
Add to this the refusal of the company to talk and provide an explanation for their actions, refusal to return the money and even attempts to intimidate us after negative review was left on one of the web sites.
In conclusion, I would like to add that after investigation of my complaints,
1. Consumer Protection Branch (Ministry of Consumer Services) added Delux Flooring Inc to the "CONSUMER BEWARE LIST", which is available on Ministry's web site.
2. City of Mississauga fined the owner of the company for work without the license.
3. BBB (now CBCB) changed the raiting of the company to "D-".

Significant discount is promised for cash payments.
The owner, Alexander, can sound very professional (especially, if you had no previous experience with floor installation).
But before you call them, look at my pictures and decide for yourself if you would like your house to look the same way.
