We had a dishwasher malfunction that ruined our kitchen floors and part of our basement drywall, roofing etc. After we received our insurance claim, we decided we would not only fix the damage but also add to the project budget and do a major main floor renovation. The project ended up including the damage form the dishwasher, our kitchen including cabinets and counters and a living room floor. We took the time to interview 3 contractors for the project and Kay 2 was by far the best interview. Moe was professional, listened to our requirements, provided valuable feedback and made us feel very comfortable with the services we would receive if we choose Kay 2. Of the three contractors, from a cost perspective Kay 2 was the middle cost of the three proposals. That was not as important as the fact that their proposal was detailed and clear, something I would not say about the competitor quotes. The project was completed in a timely manner, Kay 2 was very responsive to our in project changes/requests and not once did we feel uncomfortable with how the project was progressing. Trever was our site supervisor and he would constantly be updating us on the status of the next trade. They also use an online application called Buildertrend which was great for keeping up to date with the schedule/project. Quite frankly it was as easy on us as can be expected out of a renovation. Our house now feels like brand new and we constantly come up with a different aspect of the renovation that we enjoy the most. They took our house that was very firmly designed in the early 90's and brought it to 2019 with our own personal design. I would recommend Kay 2 to my friends and family.
