I am always so skeptical of a these companies that have 100% or near perfect ratings. I don’t think it’s possible, but Elite is better than a perfect rating. From the initial meeting and quote to the end of the project and beyond, Rafi, Helen, Marcello, and Eliset are so respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. The crew was professional, detailed, clean, respectful of our home, and did an excellent job with the pathway and driveway. One thing that is for certain is that once you are a customer of Elite, they will take care of you and they will go the extra mile for you (e.g. fill in cracks, seal other concrete surfaces, place crushed materials, etc.). Elite is the model for providing amazing customer service. If there was ever an issue down the road, I know I could call Rafi and he would take care of it. This says a great deal about Rafi and his character and the integrity of how he operates Elite. I had a great experience with Elite and would highly recommend them.

However, I am more than pleased with the work and service that was provided by Aqua Tech as they definitely earned their rating. Andrew was very respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. He was very personable, which made it easy to speak to him and deal with throughout the entire process (from quotation to the end of the job). He understood exactly what we were looking to do and explained the different options and was detailed in the specifics of each option. The crew was professional, detailed, clean, respectful of our home, and did an excellent job installing two window wells. If there was ever an issue down the road, I know I could call Andrew and he would take care of it. This says a great deal about Andrew and the integrity of his company. I had a great experience with Aqua Tech and would highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with the entire team at Garage Living. They converted my single car garage into a clean, organized, and manageable space. From quotation to the end of the job, everybody was courteous and professional. The entire crew that installed the floor (Paul and Mario) and the slat walls (Tuan and Josh) were professional, detailed, clean, respectful of our home, and did an excellent job. Derek Reingold, the project manager, was always personable, which made it easy to speak to him and deal with throughout the entire process, and was responsive with emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend Garage Living for your garage project.

After reading a number of reviews of different animal control companies, we decided to contact Gates Wildlife for our bat issue. Based on their reviews, it seemed like Gates had the expertise and knowledge to properly extract bats from our home. Blake came by the house and performed an assessment. He was very respectful, personable, professional, and was really knowledgeable with bats and other wildlife. He was very thorough with his assessment and explained in detail what he discovered and what had to be done to not only extract the bats, but to ensure they would not re-enter the home. Once he completed the work, he returned a couple more times to ensure the bats had been fully removed. Again, he explained everything detail which made us comfortable and confident that our bats issues was resolved. We could not have been happier with our experience and choice to go with Gates and Blake seems to really enjoy his work and takes pride in what he does. I would highly recommend Gates for all your wildlife control needs.

Ecopainting Inc. has painted the interior of my house in the past and since I was so please with their workmanship and professionalism, I hired them to paint the exterior. Karon and George are always a pleasure to deal with and they always provide you with a sense of security that everything will be taken care of. The crew did a fantastic job preparing the site (i.e. caulking), preparing the surfaces (i.e. sanding), and painting. The crew really took their time to ensure that every surface was painted properly and with the right number of coats. If there was ever an issue down the road, I know that I could just call them up and they would take care of it. I had great experiences with Ecopainting Inc. and would highly recommend them for your painting needs.

Highly recommended!!! From the initial phone call to the end of the job, Jeff is super easy to deal with and is a true professional. He is knowledgeable and experienced in his craft and the products he installs. As owner and installer of his company, you can tell that he takes great pride and pays an enormous amount of detail in what he does. Jeff did not try to up sell or pressure me at any point of the consultation. He reviewed the job and knew instantly what product was best for my home. Jeff even extended a discount to me since he would be saving money on shipping costs for my order. This is something he definitely did not have to offer me! He could have easily just kept the money for himself, but this just goes to show you the type of person and character Jeff is. Before the job, he made certain that I was informed of all the things that he would be doing and all the things that could possibly go wrong. Jeff prepared the site and was respectful of our home. Jeff provided before, during, and after pictures of the work. Throughout the job, he would explain what he saw, what he’s doing, etc. to me in detail. As a customer, I appreciated this because it shows that Jeff wants to make sure you are comfortable and confident in the process. At the end of the job, Jeff cleaned up and deposed of the old skylight and materials. Even at the end of the job, he offered up his observations on certain sections of my roof and explained what could happen. You will not be disappointed by hiring Jeff for all your skylight needs.

I am pleased with the work and service that Maple Window & Eaves Cleaning Inc. provided. A crew of two came at the very end of the day after a long day and still managed to do a great job and complete the work with a good attitude. The only thing that I would recommend to the company is to provide before and after pictures. Customers typically don't get to see how full their gutters can be and providing pictures of how clean they become would have a real impact.

Lyle was very professional, friendly, and easy to deal with from the first time my wife and I met with him. He worked with us to get exactly the right window coverings for our front, back, and porch windows. He was extremely insightful with the colour and type of product that would work for our space. I found him to be very meticulous. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work and stands behind the products he sells. The installer (I apologize as I can’t recall his name) was just as friendly and detailed orientated as Lyle. He did a fantastic job and the coverings looks amazing. During the install, it was discovered that one of the draw strings were too short. The installer got it fixed right away and installed the blind within a matter of days. The blinds have been installed for 3 months with no issues. Eleonor, the Customer Care rep, was just as friendly and helpful. Great product, workmanship, quality, and team of people. I would highly recommend this company for your window covering projects.

Anton was very professional and easy to deal with from the first time I met with him. He worked with me to get exactly the right product that I needed for my front porch project. He was willing to help and provide as much assistance as possible. He came by the job site a couple of times to measure and re-measure to ensure the dimensions were accurate. I found him to be very meticulous. The installers did a fantastic job and the railing looks amazing. The railing has been installed for 5 months and had no issues. Great product, workmanship, quality, and people. I would highly recommend this company for your railing projects.

Before writing this review, I thought about what I wanted to say about my specific experience with Mike and Toronto Home Theatre. I thought about going into a lengthy and descriptive narrative of my interactions, but I decided to try and keep it to the point. The reason being is because Mike, as a person and as a professional, is really looking out for his customer’s best interest. Mike is a very practical person and really wants to apply that to his customers by providing the best value for your dollar. In this day and age, it’s hard to find a contractor who is hard-working, honest, takes pride in their craft, is accommodating, and isn’t looking to take advantage of people. Mike is extremely knowledgeable of his products and technologies as well as what is currently out the marketplace. Mike is responsive (almost instantaneously sometimes) and there is never an issue getting a hold of him. Mike and his team installed my basement home theatre and I am definitely not disappointed by any stretch of the imagination. I’m still trying to figure out all the settings and functions, but I know that if I run into any road blocks or have any questions or concerns, Mike will be there to answer them with no hesitation.

Where to start my review? I’ll begin with the staff. Everybody that I interacted with at Viktoria was professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Maria, Rocky, and Ivana were all very friendly staff who made dealing with the company very simple and easy. On the day of the move, the crew was great (Adam, Kiril, and Slaven). They arrived 15 minutes early to assess and setup for the move. To save time, I thought I would try to help them with some of the boxes. However, I quickly realized that they were so efficient and organized, that I was just getting in the way! The only finger that my wife and I had to lift was to show them what to wrap and where to put things. Kiril did an amazing job wrapping and protecting everything (i.e. flat screen tv’s, art work, mirrors, dressers, etc.). In terms of pricing, it was a fixed hourly rate plus travel time, so there were no surprises when it came time to pay. The price even included mattress bags, wardrobe boxes, and plastic bins (which came in handy for miscellaneous loose items). Other companies would definitely charge for those items. There were only a couple of mishaps, but with every move I understand that there will be some bumps. Viktoria was extremely quick to correct mistakes and compensate for any issues we encountered. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this company for their moving services and would use them again.

My wife and I had a conditional offer on a home and we needed a home inspection to finalize the sale. We wanted to ensure that we got a thorough pre-purchase inspection because we did not want to discover issues with the home after purchase. We were coming from condo-living, and never had to look for contractors, trades people, etc. After researching on HomeStars.com, I came across Brent Jefferies from Classic Home Inspections. He had phenomenal reviews, and won the Home Inspection Category Award three years in a row. And now I know why! Every word about him and his work ethic is absolutely true! After speaking with him over the phone, we hired him to conduct the home inspection. Brent was accommodating, and I was able to book an appointment with him on very short notice and during a specific time slot. Brent did an incredibly thorough inspection on our future home, and wasn’t hesitant to explain things to me in detail. What made the 4-hour home inspection even more enjoyable, was Brent’s very personable and honest attitude. He was so easy to get along with. Brent made the inspection informative, and I learned a lot from it. Brent provided a report with pictures at the end of the inspection. I would hire Brent again, and would definitely recommend him for your home inspection needs. Brent is a professional that you will not be disappointed with.

My wife and I were in the middle of buying a home and we wanted to make sure that we would be able to do specific renovations before finalizing the sale (i.e. remove certain load-bearing walls, etc.). Through HomeStars.com, I discovered that Lindy Consulting Limited was offering a free consultation. Lindy Consulting had some glowing reviews, so I decided to make use of the consultation and emailed them. After a few emails back and forth, I was able to book an appointment with Steven Lindy on very short notice. Steven was accommodating and was able to come during a specific time slot. When I finally met Steven, he was very professional and straight forward. During our consultation, Steven provided some excellent ideas and possible concerns about our renovations. From this, I realized that we were dealing with a professional who would be doing things by the book, which is a characteristic my wife and I definitely appreciate. I will certainly be considering Lindy Consulting for their architectural services when we decide to renovate our new home. I would definitely recommend them to others for a consultation.
