Little known fact: Mr. Rescue is more than a handyman, he is also an excellent general contractor. I contacted Charlie to make several small repairs around the house. Immediately I was struck by his honesty, so I asked him to quote a larger job for which I had been having a hard time pinning down a contractor. The final product is gorgeous. Charlie is impressive in his attention to detail. His work is also good value: he is always thinking about the customer's pocketbook and presents several options, ranging from least to most expensive. He is also careful about adhering to code. I feel very confident saying that you can entrust your home and your money in his hands.

I've hired this company twice, and been very pleased both times. They are respectful, friendly, listen carefully to your concerns, and work quickly and efficiently. This company is a bit pricey, at least for the first hour (approx $150), so make sure that you get all of your electrical work done at the same time. It seems that HomeStars has been good for business - the second time that I used their services was in the "post-Home Stars" era and it took them over a week to return my call. Also, Antonio was too busy to take the job (he sent a junior associate). But, the quality of the work does not seem to have suffered. I will happily use this company again.

This store has an excellent selection of light fixtures and ceiling fans, at a variety of price points and quality levels. Although the sales rep, Mike, was friendly and easy-going, I felt like I was getting the hard sell, and was glad that I had done some research before walking into the sales room. On the other hand, I learned that they stand by their product. When I later had a problem with one of the fans, and also with the manufacturer's (Casablanca) warranty repair service (the guy told me that the problem that I described was "impossible"), Royal Lighting sent an electrician to my house, no questions asked, to switch out the fan. Very impressive!

I am very satisfied with the service that I received from this company. The sales representative, Anthony, was always available to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. The quote was fair, and there were no surprise or hidden costs after the installation. The installer was prompt, courteous and friendly. He spent two days on the installation (of 5 windows) with an emphasis on quality work and attention to detail. He even removed my old window air conditioner and carried it to the curb. No mess was left behind, and everything happened on schedule and as promised. I would happily use this company's services again.

Paul is a good guy who takes the business of duct cleaning seriously. The "Mike Holmes" of the corrupt duct cleaning world, you will get no monkey business from this guy. He arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently, while not rushing or skipping through the job. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my questions. The bonuses kept stacking up: $100 off, free dryer vent cleaning, and a contribution to an anti-bullying charity. And most importantly, I can really feel the difference in the air quality of my house! I heartily recommend this company.
