A few weeks backs, I decided to purchase and install a new furnace and a tankless water heater after a big company I was renting from deemed my old units end of life and was proposing new long term contracts. After obtaining quotes from a few vendors, I decided to go with Erfan’s Kanata which was also highly recommended by family friends. In particular, Erfan inspected our house’s HVAC system, answered all our questions with knowledge and insight, and sent quotes for multiple units in a timely manner. I settled on the following units: 1) A Navien 199900 BTU tankless water heater, 2) A 60000 BTU Goodman furnace and a 3) humidifier. On the day of the install, Erfan and his crew arrived on the hour and did an amazing professional job. In particular, they removed the old units without damaging the tight basement stairways and installed the new units and arranged and organized all the pipes from before that were loose. They also left the place and the work area cleaner than before. All in all, the whole job (units + installation) cost me about $1400 less than competing offers. All the units also have warranties and Kanata will provide free labour for two years. Finally, they returned the old furnace and the drained water tank to the old rental company and provided me with return receipts. This was free of charge saving me even more money.
