Rosehaven is certainly better than the last house we bought from a builder. Their initial included upgrades are pretty good too. We have had some issues with the home mostly sloppy trades workmanship, but a couple of major issues too - which they have addressed. We have an end corner townhouse, and were one of the last houses to receive our grass (in December) and it looks like we received all of the end pieces from everybody else - it looks horrible - so it will be in the annual tarion report - the onsite crew I must say has been very helpful and pleasant as much as they can be - they are not always allowed to make decisions on their own. We are still waiting for our fence - which I don't understand most people already have theirs and we cannot get a reply to our emails - they are decent not stellar and I would possibly by another home from them depending on the situation

Nick was a great sales person, came to our home with lots of samples, good ideas and great attitude - no hard sell - Jim installed over 20 windows all different sizes and did an excellent job - the shutters look beautiful. This company makes their own shutters and does not send out the job so costs are kept reasonable. All Canadian made. I got 5 quotes and all of the companies were well over this companies quote - even the company that I used last time in my last home quoted me $6000 over what Canada custom Shutters offered for the exact same shutters. Would recommend them highly and if need be would use their services and product again in a minute

We went with the Recommendation of Grand Alarms from our home builder. At the sales center they had many displays and helpful associates to make it easy to make informed decisions. The garage door tech arrived on time and did a great job installing the opener. The customer service reps Mary and Amanda have been very helpful and are quick to respond to any inquiries - here's to a long and good relationship - off to a good start

$600.00

Thanks to Wayne, Mike and Wes for doing such an excellent job. They were professional, polite and very pleasant (and fun) to deal with. We moved from Georgetown to Oakville, the truck was pretty much on time and these 3 guys worked really fast and hard. Took great care of my things. They disassemble the beds, put them back together and were very patient when placing the furniture in the new house (place here - nope just alittle left - may be alittle right etc). I hope I don't move again soon, but when and if I do I would definately use Bronte Movers.

They just keep changing their stories and keep changing their name in hopes people won't realize that it is the same company. We bought the flooring and had them install it too - it was a horendous installation, loose boards - instead of staggarded cuts they are all the same size, the installer was whacking the boards in with the heel of his foot- also the reducer which we paid an extra $300, turned out to be a quarter round that cost $20 didn't match the floor either. For over a year we fought with them, everytime they said they would send someone, they never did, and when I called to complain the response was always the same, Oh I thought it was already fixed. And we would start the process over again - the BBB couldn't do anything since they never responded - and it ended up costing me over $1400 to have the floor fixed. I also ordered a small can of stain from them fo $65, when I picked it up they gave me a large paint can with some liquid in the bottom - not a reputable company and certainly not reputable owners

$3,200.00

Purchaed menkes in 2005 - still a problem home. List too long to show here but majors were holes in the walls - broken windows - broken countertop -debris left all over the roof and in the air vents - they flooded the upstairs 1 week before possession - they used the extra carpet that we bought and paid for, to replace the ruined upstairs carpet before we moved in - and it took us almost 2 years to get the carpet back from menkes - their reasoning was that the plumber flooded the upstairs, and if they gave us the carpet (that we bought extra) the plumber would have to pay for it - SO WHAT - the door to the basement was so out of line it stuck out 3 inches on the top - just terrible workmanship all over the house. They would make an appointment and not show up and when I would call they would say well who made the appointment - AAGH - Terrible follow service (non-existant really) absolute terrible workmanship - would NEVER buy from them again - Tarion was a joke and useless

$300,000.00
