Darryl and his team did a wonderful job removing a large, dangerous, old white mulberry tree. It reached across our yard and the neighbours and they had to cope with overhead wires, fences and the neighbour's vine covered pergola. They moved garden furniture and anything else that could be damaged and with skill they cut the tree bit by bit, lowering cut sections to the ground with ropes. When finished they cleaned up every twig from the yards and used a blower to collect as much sawdust as able. I highly recommend Darryl and his crew. It is always sad to lose a tree but very pleased that it was done so safely and without a scratch or dent on any of our fences or decks. Thank you Upanoak.

After a heavy rain the roof over our kitchen started leaking. We called Avenue Road Roofing. Over the years they have always proved dependable, friendly and efficient. Kaz and Joe came out on a holiday weekend and repaired the damaged flashing. They also replaced a dented roof vent and put silicone seal around the skylights. We have relied on Avenue Road Roofing over the years to do our roof and eavestroughs but also rebuild our veranda and back deck. We have never been disappointed. It is a company with excellent customer service, follow-up and great skilled employees like Kaz and Joe that you can trust. Thank you!

With a family wedding approaching and the prospect of the house full of guests I turned to HomeStars to find someone to address several electrical problems that needed to be fixed. I am so pleased that I found NB Electric. Navin contacted me quickly and visited the next day to assess my needs. There were a few new light fixtures that I needed to purchase and Navin agreed to buy the new hard wired fire/CO2 alarms I needed. He returned a few days later and completed all the jobs quickly and efficiently. He installed the new hard wired alarms on all 4 floors, installed two new led tube lights to replace the old burnt out fluorescents, he disconnected an old door bell, replaced a broken switch and installed a new overhead light in the den, and replaced the halogen lights in my overhead stove hood. He also evaluated the two ceiling fans that I had been having trouble with. Everything looks great and is working well. I will not hesitate to call Navin the next time I need an electrician. It is always great to find a company that you can trust and rely on. Thank you.

In 2017 Avenue Road Roofing did a wonderful job replacing the roof of our three storey downtown semi. Scott, an amazing carpenter, was also able to reconstruct and restore our front veranda, even building a matching railing down the steps from vintage rails my husband had salvaged. Therefore, I had no hesitation calling Avenue Road Roofing this year when I needed our back deck rebuilt and renewed. John and Jason did their best to make sure my project was scheduled before my son's wedding and once again Scott did a wonderful job. He expanded the deck, built new railings and with the help of Zack built a wheelchair ramp for my husband. And, as with previous jobs, Kas paid a visit to ensure that we were happy with the project. It is wonderful to find a company with efficient, skilled and pleasant people that you can trust and rely on. Thank you.

I called Lampert Plumbing on the recommendation of my sister who was always pleased with their service. I was not disappointed. I needed a new kitchen tap installed and a broken shower cartridge replaced. I also had two older toilets that would often start running water without filling the tank. The pleasant young man sent by Lampert was knowledgeable and efficient. Everything is working perfectly. I especially appreciated the care he took with my bathroom tile when he was replacing the cartridge. Although my original cartridge was no longer available they were able to find a suitable replacement. It is wonderful to find a company that truly knows what they are doing and have a commitment to excellent service. Thank-you.
