On his first visit, Ole verified that I had raccoons in my heating ducts. He could tell by the sounds approximately how old they were and verified they were raccoons. Told me I could either rip out my ceiling, or wait for the babies to grow up and leave the house. Told me to call him back then (and gave me an approximate time when that would happen) and he'd block up the entrance. Cost to me for that service call: $0. Six weeks later, the raccoons had left, but before I could call, a baby raccoon came in through the air intake again, and fell into the main furnace area, and couldn't get out. It was scared and screaming - especially at night. Made a call late at night, and Ole talked me through freeing the critter. He arranged an appointment the next day. From his suggestions, I'd freed the baby raccoon so he wasn't screaming, but left it to Ole to coax him outside. Glad I did, because the young thing hissed up a storm as he was being removed. Ole patched up the intake vent, and I haven't had raccoons since. Cost of the second service call: $100. I recommended NIMBY to my mother-in-law, who had raccoons on her 2nd floor deck. She called another company who wanted $100 to come by and move the raccoons to her back lawn - with no guarantees they wouldn't be back. She called NIMBY, and they said to spray water on them to let them know they weren't wanted. Sure enough, the mother left, and took her babies with her. Cost to her: $0. In summary, NIMBY was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have no problem recommending them to anyone who has a raccoon problem.
