Bruce in Ayr

Hired to..... 1/ pour and finish exposed aggregate sidewalk, 2/ pour footings for basement staircase walls, 3/ pour and finish exposed aggregate stairs to basement entrance. Issues... Sidewalk not centred to front door of house. Did not use square when forming 2 steps down on an elevation change and steps out of square by 1” on 30” steps. Very noticeable to the naked eye. Did not square or laser footings to support 7’ high X 16’ long concrete wall. ( out 14” over the 16’ run.) Footings could not be used for wall. Was to return with his team and fix the issue the following Day. He never returned, never called and kept full payment.
