Bought a new couch and bed to be delivered at a later date. We were moving into a condo, so delivery had to be on a specific date and time as we had the elevator booked. The salesperson said it would be no problem and would let the delivery dept. know. The delivery was made on the right day but wrong time, so had to send them away to come back later. When they came back at right time, one of the delivery guys was pleasant, but the other one did nothing but bad mouth the sales person for saying they could schedule a specific time for delivery. Rushed through the delivery and setup and was very rude. We were happy with the sales but next time would arrange our own delivery or pick up to avoid their delivery person.

Was recommended this company when we needed an electrician for a small job. Needed a light switch in basement bathroom moved about 10 feet to a better location. While there, also did another small job we just asked a question about at no extra charge. Also told me how to easily fix a broken bathroom fan myself that he could have fixed and charged extra for. Very impressed.

Had a dryer that was not heating up so called for repair. The service guy was a little later than the appointment, but only by about 15 minutes, so no problem there, earlier repairs take longer, it happens. Was pretty sure right away what the problem was, replaced the part and got the dryer working again. Final cost was a bit more than I thought it should be, but didn't have time to get quotes, just needed the job done.

had Bevelled edge build and install a new kitchen countertop. They were able to make the counter in 1 piece with no seams which looks great. They were also able to give us a 12" overhang on one end which we thought was not possible. We were very happy with the construction and install and would recommend to anyone. Installation was fast and they left the work area very clean when done.

Had Artistic Iron Works build and install railing for stairs. The railing itself was built good and looks great, however, installation is another story. The installer did not measure or use a level to center railing when installing, as a result it is not straight and is very noticable off centre. I have no experience installing rails and could have done a better job. Not impressed. If you want rails that are built nice, buy from here, just don't get them to install.

Purchased carpet and had their installer put it in the whole upstairs of house. We were happy with both the price and installation job, but the installer took a lot longer than expected. He needed 2 and a half days to complete and he even told us towards the end that he was dragging his feet on the job. Inthe end we were happy with the quality of the job just not the time it took.

We purchased a new toilet and sink to be replaced in a downstairs bathroom. Called Mackenzie to come do the job as our regular plumber was to busy and we did not want to wait that long. Dallas from Mackenzie came to do the job and complained the whole time about the products we had bought. He claimed he had been a plumber for over 6 years, but had to read the instructions on the sink about 5 times and ended up using the wrong glue to put the plumbimg together. He told us to wait 48 hours before we could use the sink (never heard of that before) and when we did use it it leaked badly. Had to request a different guy to come and fix it properly.The second guy - Drew - was very knowledgable and fixed the sink easily and quickly. If Drew would have come out the first time, we would have been happy, but because of the experience with the first guy, we were not happy with this company.

Had this company relace all doors and windows in our house with new energy efficient ones. Took awhile to actually come and do it as there is alot ofconstruction oing on here now. When they did have time to do it,they did the job quickly, and very well. Cleaned up after themselves regularly and had the job completed when promised. Had an issue with one of the door locks over a year after install and they came and fixed it promptly at no charge.

Had furnace replaced and new central air conditioning installed. Good brand name used - very happy with price and workmanship. Very professional and fast. Left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Also fixed bathroom sink and moved water heater to better location at no extra charge.

Needed handles and ball valves replaced for underground irrigation. The 2 guys came exactly when appointment was for. Did the job fast with good quality parts and even did some extra work that was not part of the job which I forgot to mention when appointment made. Very happy with the way this job was done.

Had a problem with shower/bathtub faucet leaking into basement when shower was turned on. Final cost of repair was a little more than expected, but they were able to come out quickly and were very profssional and used good quality replacement parts that were needed.
