Our A/C unit finally died and so we needed to call someone to fix/replace it. I got Raymond's number from a buddy of mine and he quoted me a price to replace it. They were prompt and did a good job do and voila - our house no longer feels like a green house. We have another 30+ year old A/C unit that will eventually need replacing and I'll be calling Eco Star Home services when it does.

One of my cables on my garage snapped so I watched a video on YouTube and tried to fix it myself (the video was 15 minutes). My buddy who is pretty handy come by to try and fix it for me. 4 hours later and a couple of injuries (one pretty bad), I decided to call for a professional. Alon responded to be promptly, came within the hour and clearly knew his trade. I ended up replacing all the rollers on both garage doors and although they are not new, they are working 1000x better. Hard working, honest and clearly an expert - he did what I could not do and it's true, something like a garage door, don't mess with it especially if you have young kids - you don't want to risk something happening. I'm quite picky about hiring and recommending people but you cannot go wrong with Alon - I will be recommending him to all my friends and family. Thanks for your prompt and professional service!

First of all, my apology for the late review as this work was done last Fall (Late October/Early November) I contacted Elite Tree Care based on their great ratings and comments from clients. Riley and his team were great and they came over and quoted me and completed everything that was quoted and this summer, I'm really appreciating all that they did. There were big limbs overhanging our roof that gave easy access to raccoons and squirrels. After Riley and his team trimmed the trees, we don't have animals on our roof anymore. Also they were fast and cleaned up everything. I would have no hesitation to refer them and will definitely be calling them again if I ever need their services again.

I contacted Elite Tree Care based on the reviews. I did get a couple of quotes and they were competitive. Riley came with his team on the scheduled day and did everything that was needed. We needed some pruning on a few trees and they did an amazing job. Clean up was quick and impressive. Will definitely contact them again for all my tree needs. The only hiccup was that I had to follow-up a couple of times to book the appointment for them to come. I normally will contact another company if I am unable to reach the company but Riley apologized for the mix-up and I'm glad I followed up because they are great at what they do. Cross another thing off my things to do list and hopefully no more squirrels and raccoons on my roof now that the branches have been pruned.

I recently moved into a new home and discovered that there was water in my basement. Read the reviews on Homestars and decided to call Clarke Basement Systems. Ron came out - was very thorough. We did a few tests and it was determined that it was a plumbing issue and not an issue with the foundation. What a relief. If I ever have any issues with my basement, I would have no hesitation to call Clarke Basement Systems. They are knowledgeable, professional and came out when they said they would. 5 Stars all the way!

We moved last fall into a larger home and the eavestroughs were pretty clogged. I called Tony based on the reviews and he was quick to call me back and come to give me a quote. I initially only wanted a quote for cleaning the eavestroughs but Tony gave me a very good price to do the eavestroughs and windows. Worked hard and did an amazing job. Almost 2 bags full of stuff from the roof. It was a hot day but Tony worked hard. He also did an amazing job on the windows and screens. I would not hesitate to recommend Tony. Nice guy, hardworking. Made some recommendations and even quoted me on installing gutter guards which I am considering. If you need someone to do a great job on cleaning your eavestroughs and/or windows, give Tony from EverClear a call. I certainly will be recommending him to my friends and neighbours. What a difference to look out our windows now. WOW! Thanks Tony! I'll be calling you again in the fall if I don't install the gutter guards...

I contacted Wesley to get his opinion on getting my spruce pruned and possibly removed. It is quite tall (over 50') and I read was looking for someone who was experienced in the field and decided to call Wesley as I felt he would be able to give me an honest opinion since I had no idea if the tree would survive the damage that was sustained in the winter. The tree had been damaged in the winter and much of the top branches were broken and it had some large limbs stuck and I was worried it might fall on my children and/or property. Wesley is extremely knowledgeable, he came as promised and quoted me a price that I felt was fair and reasonable given the task at hand. On the agreed day, he climbed up the tree (multiple times), took his time to prune and shape it. It's now a month or so since we had it pruned and it looks a lot better. In fact, others on my street were impressed and asked for his number. The clean up was good and hopefully the tree will recover in time. Thanks Wesley.

I booked Duct Cleaning Specialists after reading through the reviews on Homestars. They were booked up so I had to wait just over a week for an appointment but when it came time for the call, they were early and did a great job. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and knowledge. My 3 year old had pee'd numerous times down our vents to see what would happen. Paul sanitized all our vents after he cleaned them and even gave us some extra santizer in case it happened again! Just so you know, it pays to do your homework. All the companies that I've used through homestars have been great - including Duct Cleaning Specialists. I would have no problem using them again or referring them to others.
