My kitchen sink drain was plugged and I called New Canadians first thing Monday morning. In less than hour, Volodymr arrived and began work. It took him a few hours, but the sink drain is fixed and Volodymr also replaced all the drain piping under the sink. The final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. I am very happy with the quick and quality service.

The job entailed painting most of the first floor, the second floor bathroom and the first & second floor hallways. The workers were prompt and very polite. The job estimate was accurate and completed on time, except for the final day which was rushed to complete. In general the quality of work was good. During the next couple of weeks, we noticed small imperfections and a few missed spots. When I notified the owner, they came the very next day and fixed it all up. We are very pleased with the finished job.

I was fighting a losing battle against the mice using mousetraps and hardware store poison - so it was time to call for help. I used Home Stars as a reference and called Snap Pest Control. Joe Bruno arrived exactly on time on very short notice. He inspected the outside of the house and found an old dryer vent which was allowing mice to enter the house at will. Joe screened off the opening and a few other potential entry points as well. We inspected the inside of the house and found several holes and gaps in the wall which the mice were using to travel throughout the house. The holes were filled and Joe placed bait in several locations. What I liked about his approach was that he spent the time to determine the "root cause" of the problem and then devised a plan of attack. There was a hole in the floor that looked like the main entry point to the kitchen. This was plugged and baited. I was very pleased that Joe spent the time required too fully identify the problem areas and deal with them. His estimate on the phone was that a typical visit would take 1 to 2 hours. Joe spent nearly 4 hours to get the job done without increasing the charge, which was very reasonable. Joe provided friendly and conscientious service. I would definitely recommend him.
