From our first visit to Mark through work completion with Remzi, the entire project was managed professionally and promptly. The crew at Victorious (CI&RS) worked with our schedule to show us samples, and even educate us on which carpeting would best fulfill our needs. On installation day(s) the crew arrived on time and took great care with out house and belongings. Everyone we dealt with was polite, professional, and most importantly, effective. The job was done on-time and on-budget and the results are everything we hoped for. I could not be happier with how this job turned out.

After shopping around for an Irrigation system, I called on Paul based on a neighbour's reference. Within 24 hours, I had a quote and plan for our lawn. Paul worked closely with the landscaping crew we had hired to dig out and re-sod our property. I cannot imagine a more painless process. Imran arrived on time and was both courteous and professional throughout our transaction. He took great care to keep the work area clean during and after the job. He explained every step he was going to take and, if any were optional, made sure to ask for approval before proceeding rather than doing potentially unnecessary work to pad a bill. I appreciate his work ethic and professional manner. Imran took the time to educate me on any potential issues with my out-of-production units. I now know what to look for and what parts are most likely to fail. If/when they do, Gas Fireplace Services & Repairs will be my first call.

We have used Bill for several projects around the house and will call on his services again without hesitation. This latest project was to install doors to my wife's office. The only criteria for success was to have the doors match the high-end look and finish of all the other doors in the house. The finished product is perfect. Bill even matched the finials. As a contractor, Bill has proven himself professional and trustworthy. When he said he would be by to do something, he was always on time and completely prepared to complete the task.

He went above and beyond for us this time by tracking down the source of our home's factory-engineered siding in order to get the perfect colour match. We hired Bill after interviewing 3 other professionals, all of whom came recommended by our local Benjamin Moore dealer. Bill was not the cheapest contractor we interviewed, nor the most expensive. He was, however the one who conducted himself in the most professional manner. On the day the work was to be done, Bill arrived with his crew on-time and ready to work. We needed him to paint interior walls, all of which were in furnished rooms (some quite cluttered unfortunately) and all in different colours. Bill's team were fast, thorough, and respectful of our home. He managed the crew so as to reduce any wait times between coats and colours. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished product. Bill left our home clean and left us happy. I am writing this review well past the day the work was done (a year in fact) because I came to Home Stars to look him up again after losing his card. We aim to hire him again to do additional work for us which is everything you need to know about Bill and his team. I will not lose this card again.

I cannot praise Isaac's work ethic enough. He was always punctual and considerate of the construction mess in our home. We had a failed seal behind shower tiles which resulted in a completely rotten floor and joists. Isaac demolished the existing shower taking care to salvage any reusable pieces which saved us considerable money. After cleaning out the aream Isaac rebuilt the joists, floors, walls (incl drywall), a Schluter (sp) system and tile. His work was so exact that we were able to slide in the old custom cut shower glass. AMAZING.

Carson Dunlop did a home inspection for us in September of 2011 (3 months ago as if this writing). Since then, we have discovered two separate water leaks in the home. Both of these were found on visual inspection long after the home inspection. The biggest (a $12000 repair so far) was an unsealed shower that leaked into the garage. The home inspector commented that there was water on the garage floor - probably from the small cracks in the floor and were nothing to worry about. That find did not make it into the official report and remained a conversation between the Realtor and Inspector until recently. The inspector was not carrying any technology to help identify issues throughout the home. An infrared camera would have saved us a pretty big headache. Until Carson Dunlop equips their inspector with the adequate tools, I cannot recommend them to anyone. In fact, this particular inspection did more harm than good since he did point out asinine issues that made it seem like he had done his job.

After taking ownership of a home, I called Gas Fireplace Services & Repairs to do a thorough inspection of the fireplaces. The fireplaces were manufactured by a company who is no longer in business. Two of them were missing key components to light the pilots. Imran found suitable replacements at a fair price. Imran arrived on time and was professional throughout our transaction. He took great care to keep the work area clean during his work, and after. He explained every step he was going to take and if any were optional, made sure to ask for approval before proceeding rather than doing potentially unnecessary work to pad a bill. I appreciate his work ethic and professional manner. I have already marked my calendar to call Gas Fireplace Services & Repairs every fall.
