We were very pleased with the Granite Shop every step of the way. Hawa, the sales person, was responsive and helpful. She provided detailed quotes on a number of options, and sourced our accessories at a great price. Steve is obviously experienced and very knowledgeable. He tweaked our design and produced a perfect template. He was meticulous in sealing the finished product. Dylan and Derek worked well as a team. They were methodical and careful during the installation, and respectful of our home. Everybody showed up on time and did a top quality job.

Initially I was pleased with the installation and product, however when there were problems, they fell down hard in their after care. There is no sense that you are a valued customer once the initial transaction has been completed. We were given a “smart” timer for our landscape lighting. When it wouldn’t sync to my iPhone, I was redirected to the supplier, who was impatient and unable to resolve the issue. I ended up with a $10 manual timer that I fiddle with as the days shorten. Recently, when 2 tree lights stopped working I called for advice on trouble shooting. I did not ask, nor did I expect them to fix the problem for free. Instead of a personal call back, I received an estimate of $475 by email for a service call, which would be refunded if it turned out to be a warranty issue. I’ll be using someone else for my backyard lighting.

Nixon Ho is knowledgeable about the various landscape lighting products available. He provided us with good advice and presented a number of good options in detail for us to consider. He was very responsive to our enquires, before and after the sale. Highly professional service in all respects.

We have been using Frechette for 4 years and are very happy with them. There has been a steady improvement in the health and appearance of our lawn. They get top marks for professionalism, responsiveness, competence and quality control. They always answer my calls promptly and patiently answer all my questions. We have tried other lawn care services and they don’t compare with Frechette.

Illuminations does not support its products or installation. I paid for a “smart” timer which did not function. It was replaced with a cheap digital timer. The staple used to install the wire connecting 2 lights to a tree was embedded so deeply that it nicked the wire and cut off electrical supply to the lights. They didn’t return 2 calls for advice. Instead I was sent a $475 estimate for them to merely come and have a look!!
