We hired Scott's Window cleaning to clean the exterior windows of our home. They did a good job and were very efficient and the price seemed fair. My only complaint surrounds the booking procedure - when we tried to book an appointment, they couldn't give us an exact date and told us that they'd let us know when they'd be in the area. They never did contact us but, instead, just showed up and started cleaning the windows. I assume there was some kind of miscommunication for this to have happened. I have to wonder just how organized they are since they came back again a few weeks later to clean the windows and we had to tell them that another crew had already been to our house! In spite of this, we would still use them again in the future.

We hired Captain Electric to install two ceiling fan boxes in two bedrooms in our house - in one of these bedrooms, we also had them install the actual ceiling fan. They were professional and punctual and we were happy with the work that they did (it also made my husband feel better to see how long it takes for a certified electrician to do this type of work since it seems to justify the cost). It's been several months since the fan was installed and we haven't had any problems - it's perfectly quiet (unlike the one we tried to do ourselves in our previous home). We've used Captain Electric in the past and would definitely use them again should future needs arise!

Our neighbours recommended this company to us and we were quite happy with them. We received a rough estimate over the phone and then arranged to have a sales person come to give us a more accurate estimate. He took measurements and then gave us a new estimate which was higher than the phone estimate but that's because our windows don't support in inside mount so they had to build frames for our shutters. We then arranged for installation on a week day (they are VERY busy on weekends) and everything went smoothly. I don't have much to compare them to but the shutters seem to be of good quality and we are quite happy with them!

We purchased a light fixture from this store and were happy with the service but felt slightly ripped off since we'd seen the same fixture online (at a store in Ottawa) for half the price. We were also a bit disappointed that the store didn't have any in stock (or something similar) so we basically had to order the light without seeing it in person.
