We visited SC after reviewing products and pricing on laminate surfaces at large retail building centres and smaller, indie vendors. None could touch SC's range of products or pricing — which included a choice of 3 wrapped edge profiles (vs. slab edge) as standard edges. They also supply S/Steele under-mount sinks. After selecting a surface and edge in-store, SC followed up immediately to take measurements for the tops and backsplash. Within a week the installation was complete and looked great. We were so pleased with the service that we had them return and resurface a kitchen desk. This company had the best pricing, selection and beat the big box stores hands down with delivery and installation PLUS courteous service.

We arrived home from vacation to find picture window shattered by vandals. It was early autumn and the weather had just changed to rain, rain and more rain. Five Star was out to see us the same day we called and had our custom, over-sized window replaced within a week. We have used this company before, and in both instances have experienced prompt, courteous, reliable service and exceptionally fair pricing.

This company keeps appointments on time, delivers the work on time and is available for follow-up if there are any problems. Job did get backed up a little due to inclement weather, but someone always kept in contact to let us know of delay. Contractor and workers courteous and went that extra mile helping out with smaller issues, e.g. crack in decking, at no additional cost.
