Could not be happier with the service from Rick Appliance Repair. Contacted them Monday and Ravi arrived today (Tuesday). Very impressed with Ravi's expertise and friendly manner. Fixed my washer problem in a jiffy which made me so happy since I love my old Kenmore and want to make it last as long as possible. Will definitely be using them again as all my appliances are aging. Highly recommend.

Requested a quote from Three Little Pigs on repairing the cracks in our front porch concrete steps which was causing rain leakage into our cold room below. David was kind enough to respond to our inquiries and, after reviewing pictures we sent plus googling our property, advised us that unless we wanted to replace the steps and adjoining brickwork, it would be more cost efficient for us to simply fill in the cracks with sealant. Since we can't afford to rebuild the steps and brick work at this time, we will be going with the more economical remedy which quite honestly, we may be able to do ourselves. It is rare that a company doesn't want to profit from a job and offers an honest appraisal of the situation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company due to the fact that they actually seem to care about homeowners with problems whether they are being paid or not. Thank you David Fritz! Decided on Mario's company after contacting a few different contractors for a bathroom reno consisting of removing old tub, tiles, floor and vanity and installing new floor, new vanity, walk in shower, glass door and all fixtures, plus painting the entire bathroom. Tile installation on the floor and shower was exceptional. Glass shower door is beautiful. So happy with the way it turned out. Bathroom now not only functions properly but looks modern and classy. They are a reputable company and would use again.

Contacted four window & door companies for quotes on a new entrance door and patio door. Chose Albvision for many reasons but specifically because I prefer dealing with companies where I am dealing directly with the owner. I definitely made the right decision. Tony and crew arrived on time on scheduled installation day, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up afterwards and explained everything to me. Part of the exterior siding on one side of our house came off after a windstorm. I called three companies with excellent ratings on Home Star and was immediately impressed with Vitaly of VCS Aluminum. He came over quickly to assess the damage and gave me three options to address the problem with no sales pressure at all. We decided to have all the old siding removed, insulation installed and new siding put on. We had a number of cold spots on the top floor and we felt the added insulation would decrease our energy costs. Probably the best decision we've made in a while! The cost was reasonable and competitive for the job which took about a week. Vitaly and his crew are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and pay great attention to every detail of the job. We highly recommend VSC Aluminum. You won't regret giving Vitaly a call.

Discovered wet carpet in the basement last Fall. Finally found exactly where water was entering, took down the drywall and discovered a crack in the foundation. Called Jagg in February (before the spring thaw) on recommendation from our neighbour Getting a quote was easy - just emailed Jagg pictures of our wall and they called back with a price to repair. Technician arrived on time, completed crack repair and left work area clean. We've had several hard rainfalls since the repair and there is no sign of water. Very happy with Jagg and would highly recommend. Kathy

Needed a disposal bin for the wood from our backyard deck which we were tearing down. Roadrunner Bins provided the size of bin we needed when we needed it at a competitive price compared to other companies we called. Doris was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Would definitely use again. Kathy

Hired Applwood for a new A/C unit. Installation was quick but not done correctly. Sheet metal found in basement and in backyard which I had to clean up, yet they removed materal they shouldn't have. Found water dripping from the furnace, Technician had to come back to fix. ESA did inspection today and the breaker box was not wired correctly. Again, Applewood has to come back to fix. Other issues whcih would take too lomg to explain. Suffice to say their customer service is severely lacking. I have already found another company to service opur heating and air conditioning issues. Will not deal with Applewood again.
