I have had Vinylbilt Windows installed in my house on two separate occasions. I absolutely love them. They are casements and they function beautifully. The screens are easy to remove and they are easy to wind out. Most recently they have changed their handles to a beautiful ergonomic style that folds down and clips into itself which is great, as they don't stick out into the room. These windows come with a fully transferable, lifetime guarantee, rare in this day and age. I would strongly encourage anyone to consider Vinylbilt Windows for replacements.

Karl and his team of installers are fabulous. I was educated on the benefits of each window type and my options for paint, style etc. I was also sold on the benefits of brick-to-brick installation. The installation of 6 windows was done in a day, and I watched several aspects, especially the part where they blew in expansion foam to all the gaps and sealed it with the interior window frame. I am so confident that these windows have the best draft seal possible. The windows function beautifully 6 years later and I would totally recommend Superior Home Improvements for any project. Recently I had another set of windows replaced by another company to my regret, as Superior was a bit more expensive. It was a mess. In the future I will only call Superior Home Improvements.

I had a Sunview sliding glass door installed in January 2005. After a year, the tracks started binding in the cold. After 4 years one side of the glass failed, and was filled with fog. The next year the second side failed so I decided to call Sunview and have them fix it. They told me that it is out of warranty and I could pay $600 to have both sides replaced. I find this totally unacceptable. I called the installers, Superior Home Improvements, and they told me they had many customers in my situation. I will strongly recommend that you do NOT buy a Sunview product.

From the start I was less than impressed with this team, but Igor's great attention to the sale won me over, to my regret. The team arrived at my house and barely spoke to me, much less to tell me their plan of action. They proceeded to remove our old windows quickly, and at first I was impressed with their speed. As the old windows were removed, they began grinding at the brick and framing of the house, without warning me they were doing this. Every surface of my house including high-end electronics and soft surfaces like couches etc. was covered in thick, scratchy brick dust. Although they attempted to clean up the area they were in at the end of the day, there was dust everywhere in the house due to the fact they didn't close doors or tell me to dropsheet my furniture. I have had brick-to-brick installation before and there was never any issue like this. Additionally, they used a cross brace of wood to stabilize the windows and level them by drilling into the drywall surrounding the windows. I wouldn't have minded this as a simple hole is easy to patch and fix, however I watched each of them simply rip the cross brace off the wall resulting in massive damage to the drywall, tearing the paper and making huge holes. Igor offered me $150 to fix this, what a joke. On top of that, the finishing of the frames around the windows on the inside is dreadful. They are not level, filled with staple holes and have minimal attempt to fill the holes in the wood. I could have done a better job, and the only way to fix them will be to tear all of it off and do it properly myself, to all 17 windows. The net result is that I have beautiful windows that are finished terribly and I would never recommend GTA windows as an installer.
