I hadn't had my vents cleaned in about five years. Due to cats, seasonal allergies and the onset of colder weather now requiring the use of the full time use of the furnace , I wanted to make sure the air I breathed this winter would be clean. I did my search on Homestars and found 416-SO-CLEAN had fantastic reviews...and rightly so! I was provided with an estimate(via internet) due to the size of my home and the service requested. Shane and his partner came early (with my approval); covered there shoes; checked and doubled checked my order request; answered every question; and even advised me of what I didn't need to have done before starting the cleaning of all the vents in my home. The cleaning and sanitizing process took approximately 2hours. I appreciate their thoroughness, professionalism and kindness. I am so glad that I chose this company. Not only do I recommend 416-SO-CLEAN, but also expect to use them for all my future cleaning needs.

I choose Global Aluminum Solutions to replace my old, rotting and rusted 14 foot iron railing. Anton kindly advised me what would be worth doing and what would be a waste of money; what colour would be aesthetically pleasing and what would look "cheap". Anton took down my old railing and cleaned up right away (however, they didn't take the railing away, (I truly can't remember if this service either cost extra or was not available) but that was fine as it was gone within 48 hours when I left it at the curb). My new railing was ready in a week. Due to bad weather I had to wait an extra week for the railing to be installed. The installer was friendly and quick, and I didn't have to be at home while the installation occurred; but I did hear from my neighbours it only took 1/2 hr to put up the new railing. The area was cleaned up well. I found a tiny scratch which Anton came out to fix the next day. The price may be at the top end of the average but the service was fantastic and the people I dealt with were very kind and professional. So far, I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

I must admit at first I liked this company when they came to install both my furnace and air conditioner in July 2014. The salesman was polite and the installers were friendly, clean and knowledgable. However that's were the GOOD SERVICE ENDS! The first problem with my HVAC occurred winter 2015-16. The heating system failed to blow hot air throughout the house. I called for service and someone came out the next day (thus no heat overnight). Though the problem was fixed, I found the service person very rude. I wanted him to stay an extra 5-10 mins to make sure the heating was effectively warming the house. He refused to which was fine, but the way which he refused was unsettling. He told me I was trying to keep him "hostage!". I advised him that was not the case, and that I just wanted to make the house heated up as I didn't want to have to wait a day or two for service (as he said I would have to) if heat failed The second incident occurred when a furnace fresher sold at Canadian Tire got sucked into the HVAC. The same serviceman came out (better mannered this time). Fixed the motor but advised I get a new blower motor installed. I told him that would be fine. He advised he would order it on the Monday (as he came on Saturday). It's been over a month of waiting. I have left messages. Talked to "customer service". And have even sent an email regarding the issue (and a payment issue which has been resolved). Customer service declare a motor would be rest by the end of the week for installation, however no call back or email back was made to me. Finally, after reaching the company today (Friday) , I've been assured service will take place next Tuesday evening. I hope this happens, but I strongly feel I should not have to chase after a company for more than a month. My advice is to do your homework, which I did not. I went by reference of a good installation price. However, a sale is a sale but it's the continued service that is important. This is just plain LOUSY service! I hope the company looks at these reviews and change their ways.

So far so good! Mike Li was referred to me by friends and co-workers, and was wonderfully pleasant and knowledgeable. He sat down with me and discussed the various products and their functionality that would suit my home. He informed me of rebates. He listened to and discussed my concerns...and he did not try to up-sell me at anytime. The installers were kind and efficient. They installed, sealed and secured the pipes and additional features well. They explained the new system to me throughly before leaving my house. I have had the new furnace and air conditioner for about 10 months now. The hearing was fantastic in the winter; and though I'm not a big a/c user, it has come in very handy for the heat waves we have had this summer. Like I said... So far so good!!

Garage door was installed with automatic opener earlier this year. The owner and his assistant worked all day during a winter storm to get it done. Friendly, kind and excellent customer service. What more can you ask for!

It has been since March since Basetech repaired the foundation of our home. The repair itself seemed to have been done well, however, part of the contract declared the company would replace our patio stones. It is now the end of August this work has yet to be done. We have called several times, and have been numerous excuses (weather, "I will let Tony know"), but nothing has been done. Patio stones still are piled in the corner of our backyard. Unfortunately,I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

We had a horrible infestation of bedbugs in our house. I was so ashamed that I tried for weeks to take care of the problem myself, only to later learn that is what probably made the problem worse. Finally, I called Pesticon, who came to our house within two days to fumigate. Mr. W showed me where thee infestation was at its worse. Removed my son's mattress from the home; and even came back two weeks later for a follow up fimigation. Mr. W was gratuitous and kind; an was a very calming presence during this very, very stressful time. It has been three months since the treatment. And thankfully we have been bedbug free. And I feel comforted in knowing even if those nasty critters do come back Pesticon has a six month guarantee. Thank you for all your help!
