Our dishwasher broke down and as we had been very satisfied with the Bosch brand that outlasted the life expectancy of other brands, we did some research online on the Flipp App. We found the price point at CAS was better than other appliance stores in our area. We ordered the appliance on Saturday and could have received it on a Tuesday, we had to defer to Wednesday due to our previous commitments. We were kept informed of the delivery and the time we could expect to receive our new dishwasher. The process was seamless and Tony, the salesman we dealt with was very pleasant. The delivery people were also quite nice to deal with. The only reason we did not give them a five-star review is the fact that we had delivery issues during a previous purchase at this store. However, everything went according to our total satisfaction.

Matthew and Ruben were a breath of fresh air to deal with. They are hardworking, conscientious and very pleasant young men. They took the time to explain the process. They arrived within the time frame that had been agreed upon and started immediately with getting the work done in a methodical fashion. This was not the first time we have used this amazing duct cleaning company. We are confident about the quality of their work and the pride they take in getting the job done. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a legitimate duct cleaning company. I would also like to thank Caroline, the booking agent for ensuring that this process was booked in a timely fashion. Caroline is very pleasant to deal with and she ensures that everything is well explained and she is very thorough in her work also. Kudos to a very efficient and reliable company who has great interpersonal communication skills as this is very rare in this day and age. Lorraine Laframboise

We called Simpson Electric to come and repair a lighting fixture in our on-suite bathroom. The electrician accidently broke the fixture and a soap dish. This happened in the week of November 18. Since then, we have been trying to get compensation for these broken items, without any success. We send e-mails to enquire about the status of this claim; however, most of our e-mails are unanswered. They have ordered a new fixture without showing us what they ordered and are trying to replace a soap dish that we bought more than two years ago, which is an impossibility. We have asked for a resolution to this issue by December 13; however, when we e-mailed them with this request on December 9, 2019, we have not had the courtesy to receive any feedback. They asked us what the value of our bathroom accessories would be to replace. We promptly sent a response on December 9 and the issue has been in limbo since then. We are very frustrated by this company's interaction with us as they either ignore our e-mail messages or are very slow in responding. We do not want to have to take the matter further; however, unless we hear back from them with a firm commitment to settle this issue, we will need to take further action. We would prefer to get the issue dealt with in an amicable manner; however, if we are not given any choice, we will need to take further action to get compensated. We understand that this was an accident; however, we should not be responsible to replace these items as we were not the ones who had the accident. They have gone ahead an ordered a new light fixture without showing us what they have ordered and when we requested to see the fixture, we did not receive any response. Things are fine with this company as long as everything goes smoothly without a hitch!!! We will never deal with them again and would not recommend them to anyone. We have not paid anything for the work as the electrician was not able to make the repair as he broke the light fixture before the repair was done.

We ordered a refrigerator on July 8. By July 22, we had not heard anything about the delivery. The company did not call to ask us if we were available to get a delivery on July 24 and sent an e-mail to tell us this refrigerator would be delivered on that date. I called on the morning of July 23 to inform them that I had a medical appointment in the afternoon of July 24 and asked if we could have the refrigerator delivered before 1:30 p.m. I was told by the representative that they would contact the delivery company and get back to me. I indicated that I needed to go for an appointment at 10:00 a.m. today and the representative indicated that he would contact the delivery company immediately and get back to me before I left. I came back at 12:15 p.m. and no one had left a message on our voicemail; we did not receive an e-mail. I then spoke to the assistant manager who finally apologized after debating with me that they were doing their best. I stated that there was a distinct lack of communication with clients. It should be noted that we have dealt with this company in the past and were satisfied; however, this last experience has been an exercise in frustration and we will seriously contemplate dealing with their competitors next time we need an appliance. I am not a happy camper at this point in time.
