I lost some shingles and a vent in a recent wind storm, and found Academia quickly online. Gord walked me through the process and advised me of the work that would be done to fix current problem, as well as the added assessment of the roof's condition as a whole. Gord is very knowledgeable in his field, and I quickly felt comfortable and confident in the company's ability to deal with my roofing problem. Joe came out and fixed the roof promptly, and soon after that, I was updated on the condition of my roof. Overall a great experience and smooth transaction, and I will definitely be recommending Academia Roofing and Attics to others.

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys! I had a water softener and RO filtration system installed in my house by Waterwork Company. They were beyond punctual (actually called to asked if they could come a bit earlier), were extremely friendly and down to earth, AND were very knowledgeable. Steven came to install the softener, and spent a good chunk of time answering all of my questions and explaining the science behind how the system softens water. (I finished the day feeling like I had learned something new:) He went over the maintenance (which is almost non-existent) and function of the system, and explained how I wouldn't need to use as much soap anymore in any of my appliances or in the shower. (Yes!) Peter came to install the RO filtration system (Peter is actually Steven's Dad) and he was just as knowledgeable and friendly as his son. These guys know their stuff, and made me feel comfortable and confident in their ability and know-how. 10+ stars!
