Karen from My Decorator was a pleasure to work with! We engaged her to redo our dining/living room area as well as our powder room. She quickly developed an understanding our what we were looking to accomplish and worked within our budgeted means. While respecting the style we wanted, she also helped us to push our boundaries and brought forward ideas which we would have never thought of on our own. Our project was completed successfully, on time and within budget. We are very happy with the outcome and intend on hiring Karen again for future projects!

We had a full backyard landscaping project managed by Leaside Landscaping which included a pergola, deckwork, stonework, a shed, fencework, planting of trees, and a built in BBQ/Fridge. We were impressed by them from beginning to end, everything from the initial design work, project management and the execution of the actual work (workmanship is excellent). Totally responsive and professional in every respect, Justin managed the project from beginning to end to ensure we were thrilled with the outcome (which we are). Knowing that we didn't have an unlimited budget, Justin also helped us to spend our dollars to achieve the maximum benefit for what we were looking for. Lastly, both Justin and Simon went over and above to deal with water drainage concerns on our neighboring properties, at no additional cost to us. I would highly recommend Leaside and they will be the ones we call for further work in our front yard in the years ahead.

We hired Joe at AF Waterproofing to address our basement water problems, which seem to have been going on since the house was built. He provided us with good advice and ultimately addressed our problems once and for all. The work wasn't cheap, but definitely in line with market rates. His team performed the work effectively and he provided us with a 25 year written guarantee, along with written documentation and photographic evidence of all the work his team carried out to provide us with peace of mind. While I hope that we are finally past our water problems, I would hire AF Waterproofing in the event of issues in the future.

I wished i had checked the Homestar reviews before hiring this company! We had raccoons in our chimney and I called AAA All Seasons to get the issue taken care of. They confirmed that there was a mother raccoon with 4 babies in our chimney and proceeded to apply a one-way door with a ladder to help the baby raccoons get out of the chimney. I asked them a few times to be sure that the baby raccoons were old enough to get out of the chimney and they confirmed that this was the case and they had ZERO doubts, Fast forward 6 weeks....we are experiencing a huge outbreak of files in our house...we must have had 100-200 flies over a 3 day period. I searched my whole house and looked around to find the problem, but then realized that there must be a problem in the chimney. So I called AAA and asked them to come back and verify that we didn't have dead raccoons in our chimney....they came but the technician advised that he didn't see anything and there were no signs of any dead animals. Unsatisfied, I called another company...they came by the following day and confirmed that we had at least 2 dead baby raccoons up in our chimney and this was obviously the reason for the flies in our house. It goes without saying that I will NEVER use AAA All Seasons again!

I hired Glen to take care of various small household items which I have had trouble finding time to get done. He was on time, knowledgeable and got everything done within a reasonable amount of time. Great person, very straightforward, honest and reliable. In fact, I am hiring him again to take care of more items!
