I sent out a service request for a faulty toiltet, which refused to fill the tank with water after flushing. Trey called me a couple of times - points for persistence right there. When I talked to him he had a pretty good idea of what might be wrong, and promised to send someone to fix it within a few days. He actually sent someone the next day. Kevin arrived on time, took a look and realized he needed to replace a faulty part. The fix was pretty quick, wish I didn't wait so long to get it done. Now I don't have to open the cover to fill the tank every time it flushes. Thanks Ninth & Co!

I needed a new AC unit so I sent a service request on Homestars and Mike from Sunshine Ventilation was one of the companies who responded. He visited to check out the site and gave me a quote for a Lennox AC unit, which turned out to be the best one so I decided to go with it. He showed up on time (7:30am on a Sunday!) along with a helper and they installed the unit and cooling coil within the time frame he gave me, then tested it, and cleaned up the site. Looking forward to having the AC cool my house during the hot summer. Very pleased with the service. Mike is professional, prompt and responds quickly to any questions. Like I mentioned he also gave me the best price, which sealed the deal for me. I'd gladly recommend Mike's services.

The guys from Pro RenCo built a gazebo (which I bought separately) in my backyard and it looks great! They gave me a good quote (after showing up for an estimation visit), explained the build process in detail and mentioned the next available date, which happened to be next week. Due to rain they had to postpone by a day, but kept in touch and showed up the next day when they said they would. They built the frame, made holes for the concrete posts, mixed and poured the concrete, and while it was setting, they kept building the structure. The concrete took a little longer than expected to set, and there was another rainy day, so they came back to finish the job the very next day. Again, they made sure to keep in touch. After the gazebo was placed in its final spot, they fixed up my patio and it looks fantastic, like the gazebo rests on the stones themselves. They made sure it's level and sturdy, and the workspace is cleaned up. Overall I'm really happy with their work and already asked them about another project. Would totally recommend their services.

GIG moving were recommended by a colleague and their quote was way cheaper than other moving companies I contacted, so I went with them. Alex and Valentin were very fast, finished the whole move in around 3 hours, from a condo to a house, within Toronto. They were fully equipped with furniture covers, trolleys etc. They knew how to deal with a situation where only a single elevator worked and putting it on service was not an option. The move was smooth, everything was intact, they placed my stuff in the rooms as I instructed. They did their best to carry my queen-sized bed up to the bedroom, even tried disassembling the frame; kudos to them, even if it didn't fit in the end because of the low stairwell clearance. Very happy overall.

Rob from Ambicorp worked fast and efficiently, and checked everything in and around the house, especially things I would never have thought about. At the same time he gave me lots of tips and advice. The report was on time and very thorough. It helped me prepare a plan of action on what to fix first, because every house has issues, some more hidden than others. He also provided me with a "homeowner's manual", a 96 page book explaining all about home systems and how to go about maintaining each.
