I am very pleased with the entire sales and installation process. Jamie was very timely in answering our inquiries and was able to come on site after receiving photos and recommend options. He provided accurate production timelines and installation day everyone arrived on schedule and the installation was very professionally done with no mess. During the freak windstorm in early April, 2018 I found that my whirlybird vent had blown off the roof. I contacted Quality First Roofing on the afternoon of April 4th and Michael was able to make a next day appointment to me in Pickering. This was very important as if it had taken a lot of time there was a potential for leakage with rain arriving in the next couple of days. Michael was in constant communication re: his timelines for arrivals and estimated costs. He was very professional, and arrived with all the needed parts for the job. . Michael was able to show me before/after photos of the work and was also able to do a roof inspection to let me know of potential upcoming issues that I may want to address. I was very satisfied with the work and the cost of the job and recommend Michael and Quality First Roofing

Hotwire responded to our email within a day with a quote for replacing most of the light fixtures in our home. Once we committed, we were scheduled in very quickly. Tyler and Dan W. came to the house on time during snowy weather. After a walkthrough and some discussion, we made some adjustments to the initial estimate due to some limitations on our end. (We expected these limitations, and was glad to hear what our options were, even though we decided to hold off for now.) Trevor and Dan W. were both courteous, efficient and thorough. They answered my questions and offered advice when we asked for it. When some wiring issues came up, they let me know what needed to be done and when it affected our final cost. Tyler recommended a dimmer for my dining room and was able to install one that he had in the van (at an extra cost). We expected the job to take at least a full day, but they were done in four hours. I am thrilled with the results and am happy we chose to work with Hotwire.

My garage door ended up only opening about 1 foot off the ground and was stuck there. Realizing this was quite out of my league I checked some reviews and contacted Dodds. They were back to me within the day and booked a service call within my chosen time window. Joe showed up on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. He saw that I had a broken spring in my door hence why it would not move. He recommended replacing both springs as they were the same age and I agreed. He also fixed my attempt at fixing the garage door opener wiring and realigned the safety lasers that were wired incorrectly by the previous owners. I felt bad as he was working in a closed garage in next to 50 degree heat. I priced out the work online and Dodds was very reasonable and the work was done quickly and professionally. This kind of work can be very dangerous if not done right as the springs are holding back hundreds of pounds and if they snap you could be seriously injured, I would definitely recommend Dodds for Garage door service. Homestars did not steer me wrong.

I originally called Spring Home when my old air conditioner was acting up. George from Springhome was able to come out the same day and take a look at things. As the systems were 21 years and repair costs were not going to be worth it George booked an appointment and gave us multiple options at different energy savings levels. There was no high pressure sales pitch and George seemed very knowledgeable of the different systems. A week later the system was installed by 2 technicians, they were very professional, arrived on time and removed the old system and installed the new energy efficient system and showed us the ins and outs of the new wifi thermostat. George came back a week later to make sure everything was good and made some minor comfort control adjustments for us. I would recommend Spring home and definitely use them again.

I left a request for Magic Touch after hours Monday and they were cleaning my chimney, Tuesday morning, talk about quick service. Adam was very professional. We had discovered some feathers in the chimney and he said that the cap we had on the Chimney could not be covered to keep out further feathered visitors and offered a replacement cap at a very reasonable price that would do the job. In total the work took about 45 mins-1 hour and I was very satisfied with the cost and customer service both at the booking end and during the cleaning. I will be using them again next year.

I used Tender Touch to pack and move my 3 bedroom house in Scarborough to Pickering. Justin provided a quick and reasonable quote for services and was in touch with me for any questions I had, A team of 3 packers were very thorough and kept me involved to ensure I was satisfied. The move the next day went well and our belongings arrived safe and the movers made sure they did not simply put down boxes anywhere, they were moved to specific rooms which made things much easier to setup after. I would recommend Tender Touch to ensure a piece of mind when moving as it can be a very stressful time.

I have never been so impressed with a HVAC company in my life. Paul came in for a booked cleaning and ran cameras prior to starting work to see if the ducts actually needed the work. After inspection he told me that the ducts looked pretty good and did not need the work. He recommended cleaning the dryer vents as they were a fire hazard and cleaned out the hot air vents in the house as I have a cat and a dog. Any other company I have dealt with would not have done this and simply collected the pay cheque when the work was not necessary. They arrived on time and even made an effort to be early by calling earlier in the day. I would recommend The Duct Cleaning Specialists to everyone.

Based on Homestars reviews I called Java Electric as I had discovered my old stove was hard wired to the fusebox and I required a stove outlet for my new range. Pavel called prior to arriving to confirm everything and when he arrived he explained what he needed to do. He was very professional and the service was excellent. Pavel ensured that the work are was as clean or cleaner before he left and I was very satisfied with the work that was performed. I would definitley reccomend Java Electric to anyone.
