Found CanaDuct on Homestars first week of March 2012 and booked appointment for cleaning a week after having new flooring installed. Paul and Adrian showed up on time and were extremely professional and courteous. Answered all my questions and offered solutions on some other issues. Great job and I'll be recommending to other people without hesitation.

My A/C wasn't working properly so after consulting HomeStars I decided to call Northwood to have a look. The technician Richie showed up early and answered all of my questions with patience and ease. Turns out I had a refrigerant leak and he topped it up and sealed the leak. Everything works great now. Excellent service rom this company from the time I called to when the job was done.

Hired The Roofer after seeing some of their work done on my street. Price was right and they started work when they said they would. Did good and fast work on the flat portion, as weather was becoming a factor. They also removed some glass panels over my front porch and turned it into a regular sloped roof. Good job there too. My issues are two-fold: firstly when work was being done on the flat portion, it seems their propane tank was acting up so they decided to take my BBQ tank to use. I wasn't asked or told about this until I mentioned it to the owner. I was given a rather weak excuse that their tank was freezing up and in order to save time from having to go to office and get a new one, they decided to take mine with the idea of refilling it the next day. Well they didn't give my old tank back, instead leaving me the one they were having issues with, and sure enough when I went to BBQ, it gave me a hard time. My second issue is with the clean up of the debris. I'd rate them 7 out of 10 on that. I told the contact I had, William, about the issues with both that tank and the cleanup and was promised it would all be taken care of. I cleaned up their leftover debris myself but as for the tank, as of this writing it hasn't been returned and I've pretty much given up on it too.

My basement reno started September 10th and was to be completed by September 28th. I'm still waiting for it to be finished and it is November 7th. There is only a small portion left to be completed and what has been done is excellent. I have expressed my concerns verbally and via email to Randy Baryla and keep getting empty promises of "next week", or most recently "as soon as possible". He did advise that there was a sickness with an employees' family member that was impacting projects, however my empathy and understanding has run its' course. Randy picked the September start and finish dates and gladly accepted my full payment as per our contract. But once the final installment was made, work slowed to a crawl. When the work is being done, the worker Brian is professional, courteous and makes an effort to clean up. I feel sorry for him bearing the brunt of my complaints because his boss will not return my calls and half heartedly responds to my emails. I've ranked the budget aspect of the survey as poor even though the quality of work is excellent. I did this because my 3 week project is now approaching 10 weeks. Since I've paid in full as per the contract, there is not much I can do but hope this gets completed. Posting reviews to sites such as this seems to be my only recourse at the moment.
