Damski Masonry did a beautiful job replacing bricks damaged by water penetration on a wall adjacent to my reverse driveway. There were two separate locations involved, each with different water penetration issues to address. The final result looks great -- I can't even see where the repairs are ! Thank you to Paul and crew!

I want to say thank you to staff member George for his work on a driveway catch basin clean-out. George was very pleasant to work with and I was quite pleased with the result!

I wish I could give Alex 12 stars! Just after midnight on Christmas Eve -- my (double) kitchen sink became totally blocked and was also leaking, from broken fittings. Plunging was useless & I could not even get at the trap. I knew I needed the drain snaked PLUS a major plumbing replacement -- and it was Christmas Eve! Even though it was so early in the morning I decided to put in a request at HomeStars -- and was so grateful to be immediately contacted by Alex. We discussed the problem and he came that very morning -- and in a few hours replaced everything underneath the sink and snaked the drain -- and made sure to clean up everything, as well. Now my sink works better than it ever did before! And Christmas was not a disaster. Thank you Alex !

For many years I did most of the repairs around the house so when an issue arose later with this machine I knew what had to be done and contacted the office. Avenue Road Roofing recently solved a tricky downspout drainage problem at my neighbour's house which also affected my home. That's why I went to them when I wanted to do some downspout work at my house. It was definitely not a handy-man job and I needed experienced help. It was a good decision. Avenue Road Roofing staff Tony & Dwight were able to devise a way to deal with the situation that worked very well and also installed the new pipes it very quickly. I am very pleased with the result. I have used Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning several times in the past years for service on my HVAC system. They always took care of the problem and their staff were easy and pleasant to deal with. That's why I went to them when I needed to replace my air conditioning unit. This was a good decision. They were able to schedule the installation very quickly during the late summer hot weather. I was very pleased with the efficient and careful work of Dieter, the tech specialist who the time to calibrate/adjust the new unit very well and it runs very quietly! Thank you to all.

Home Painters Toronto recently completed an exterior paint job on my two-storey house. The painters who did the job -- David, Galen, Mark and Darren -- were definitely experienced and skillful painters who all very personable and easy to work with. They also worked very hard – and perhaps my only criticism is that they tried to too much work on the first -- very hot -- day of the job!

Iberia Landscape replaced a 20 ft section of my side lot retaining wall. This required removing an old railroad tie wall that was falling apart. The job also required them to do most of the work from my neighbour's yard. This was such a good job. The construction was excellent . It will last forever -- and it looks great, too. And -- although by its nature this was quite a messy job -- when Iberia left my neighbour's yard it looked just as it did before the job began -- no mess at all. I really appreciated that. Thank you Iberia!

I am used to doing basic electrical work in my home but one day -- after a lot of investigative work on my own -- I could not solve a problem with one of my bigger circuits -- I needed professional help. I called CLI and was lucky enough that they were able to send someone right away. Electrician Steve was able to diagnose the problem in a matter of minutes and made the repair. My problem was solved. Thank you to Steve and to CLI.

I had an old overgrown Russian Olive tree that had taken over much of my back yard. It looked like such a week I thought it should come down. Cohen and Master suggested that I could reshape the tree into something I would enjoy and -- working with me -- they did do that. It looks beautiful and I now have a lovely focal point for my yard. All the technicians and staff were very pleasnat to work with. A very good experience.

Contex did a new roof for me two years ago -- I am very pleased with its performance and the type of shingles used -- still looks new. As I watched I could tell this was an experienced crew. During the installation process -- before the new skylight could be installed -- there was some unexpected leaking due to a rather big thunderstorm -- however Mr. Getz and his staff came very quickly -- the same evening -- to stop the leak until the new skylight arrived and could be installed.

I was fortunate to learn of Otto’s Masonry from a friend. Otto’s Masonry did a large project for me which included replacing a retaining wall, building a paving stone walkway, redoing a large section of brickwork and building a set of concrete steps. These projects included the use of four different types of decorative materials. I was impressed with the ongoing attention to detail that produced not only a beautiful result – better than I had envisioned – but attention to detail that made sure that all work supported and promoted the structural integrity of my house. All company staff were a pleasure to work with.
