Aida came recommended to get our rented triplex ready for listing - and she did not disappoint. We have had different cleaners over the years and she was definitely the best. She came around a few days before the cleaning day and did a walk through and quoted for the job. On the day she and her team of 4 turned up on time and did a 6 hour deep clean of the rented triplex. The quality was very good and they cleaned areas that we had not discussed - like the front door, front windows and letter box - making it look great when you approached from the street. Walls were scrubbed to remove scuff marks and dog marks, bathrooms and kitchens were spotless. We will use Aida and her team again.

Giving them 1 star for prompt response to my inquiry and turning up on time. However from there it is all bad, will not use them again. In summary - they wanted to charge me $300 for a part I later found online for $37, and then when I called someone else to fix the fridge, there wasn't anything wrong with that part - it was something else. So I feel they are either incompetent, or were trying to fleece me for additional money, or both. Fridge was not cooling properly, so I gave QuickFix a call. After 20 min of poking around the guy that came said that the start relay needed to be replaced... that would cost $300 and 4 business days wait. And then possibly the compressor would also need to be replaced, but they couldn't tell until after the start relay was replaced. $300 didn't sit well for a $400 fridge so I said I would think about it. I did some research and found the start relay online for this model for $37!! I called QuickFix and challenged them.. and I just got a "genuine parts" response. The fridge is a cheap Wood's fridge made by GE... so I would be surprised if it had genuine parts. I called another guy who knew straight away what the issue was - fixed it in 30 min. And he knew straight away it was not the start relay or the compressor. His labour and cost for a part (something to do with the fan) was the same as Quickfix's standard fee. In hindsight... The fan was not working - I am kicking myself for not noticing (it is pretty obvious if the fan is not working when you open the freezer). QuickFix did not pick this up, which seems bizarre.

After having issues with another repair outfit who did not solve the problem and wanted to overcharge me for a part, I called Kai. Kai came around same day, called before he arrived. The issue with the fridge was very likely the fan, but he looked into everything else to check all was good. It was the fan. Fridge was fixed with new part in 45 min. Running like a dream. The full cost for Kai (labour and parts) was the same as the call out fee for the other company (which got us nothing but incorrect advice to spend much more money that would not have fixed the issue). Kai offers warranty on his work... we will be using him again if we need to. Very happy.

Paul and Phillip from Canaduct came on time and cleaned out our filthy ducts. We don't know when they were last cleaned but they certainly needed it! The guys came and went without a fuss, and all was good. There was some dust around from when they blasted the vents, but this is normal for duct cleaning and understandable given how dirty ours were. Heat is on and everything seems fine.

Duct cleaning is a tight, but not sealed operation. All measures are taken to keep this procedure as dust free as is practicable. Thank you for your reveiw
