We first got in touch with Northwest Gas to see if they could source and replace a failed Ventor motor in our 8 year old Carrier furnace under warranty - we were not existing customers. We had a '3-in-1 protection package' with Enercare, who had already suggested that we replace the furnace right away, since they had no ETA on the part from their supplier. Other companies we contacted were also ready to sell us a replacement furnace. Alyssa was very helpful in getting information on the factory back ordered part and even suggested that we try other dealers to see if could get it faster elsewhere. A few days later, she tried again for us. After 2 weeks with no heat, at my request, I got a very reasonable quote to replace the entire furnace from Lou. On the day we were to finalize the contract, he went above and beyond to source the replacement part from Carrier instead of replacing the whole furnace. And finally, Anthony, who then came to replace the part within hours (and also had some contribution on sourcing the part from Carrier) was great. Very professional, did a neat and quick replacement, took time to answer my questions patiently, test and clean up everything. It shows great integrity when a company acts in the consumer's interest to forego an easy sale and install of a new furnace down to just a warranty replacement. Northwest Gas also offers HVAC Maintenance and protection plans, which are very reasonably priced in comparison to others. With the amazing level of service we received, I have switched over from Enercare to Northwest Gas. I would recommend Northwest Gas to anyone for any service they offer.
