When our kitchen sink suddenly stopped draining we tried various DIY approaches before calling in a professional. In future we will know not to waste time and to call right away! Alex arrived quickly after we called, analyzed the problem, took out the U shaped trap under the sink, and proceeded to snake about 20 feet to the main drainage line. Because our U section had been glued strongly Alex replaced it with new pipe in a way that would allow disconnection in future. After the blockage was cleared he ran tests to ensure that everything was clear. At each step, Alex communicated the cost to get our ok before going ahead. Very professional and also provided a lot of general maintenance advice which we really appreciate.

Atiar is great at diagnosing, estimating, ordering parts and provides a reliable firm quote that is very fair. He explains his charges up front so everything is clear. Recently we called him to fix our leaky washer. In very short order, after checking the washer, Atiar figured out that the leak had another source in our basement and helped us deal with it. Before he left, we asked him about the larger front burner on our stove that hasn't worked properly in a long time. He sourced a replacement part, gave us a quote, and was back quickly to make the repair and now it works perfectly again. I highly recommend Atiar. He is experienced and knowledgeable about appliance repair. He behaves professionally but is also friendly and respectful. He communicates really well - we knew when to expect him. We didn't ask him, but he removed his shoes at the door before he entered our house.

Anta plumber, Rulin, provided a home visit during the pandemic, taking all precautions. Removed old sink, faucet, drain pipe and installed new (we had purchased new sink and faucet). Great service from a great company. No muss no fuss. Thank you!

We had two large old unhealthy black locust trees at the back of our property. We received three expressions of interest after posting our request on HomeStars; two of those companies followed up with a quote. We also received a quote from another company directly. Dan at Warriors responded right away to our request for quote on HomeStars and came out promptly. He examined the trees and found that the trunks had holes over 12 inches deep and were unsafe. We talked to Dan at length and felt very comfortable with his business philosophy and ethic. We waited for other quotes, and finally decided to go with Warriors. The City of Toronto has very strict rules and procedures for tree removal. This seems to intimidate some companies. Warriors has a knowledge of City regulation and procedure that inspired our trust. It turned out that our confidence in Warriors was well placed. They handled all dealings with urban forestry and secured an exemption. A two-day window for tree removal was set. The first tree and major branches of the second were down in a day. The trunk of the second tree had grown into a wire which couldn’t be identified. Warriors contacted Rogers and Bell; informed immediate neighbours of the possibility of service interruption; and followed up with those neighbours after cutting the wire to find out if there had been an interruption. Luckily the wire was dead and no one was affected. The trees were close to the street, and some sawdust landed on nearby cars downwind. The Warriors crew took the time to blow the sawdust off nearby cars. So courteous! Warriors value good relations with the City of Toronto and utilities, and demonstrate exemplary consideration for neighbours. They left the site cleaner than they found it. This experience was incredibly positive. Warriors is exceptional: knowledgeable, reliable, reasonable, ethical, honest and pleasant to deal with. We have a 20 year old Kenmore gas dryer. It stopped working suddenly last weekend when I put int a load - nothing. I didn't know who to call or whether it could be fixed. Online, I read great reviews for High Tech Appliance Service and particularly for Atiar, so we called the company and wow! Atiar came by promptly to investigate, saw that we needed a new motor, and said he would get the part and return within a few days. The very next day he brought the new motor, installed it, and the dryer is in great working order again. Five star, exceptional service (so fast!) at reasonable rates.
