New garage We bought a house with parking in the rear lane but we had no garage. We looked high and low for a cost effective garage and discovered Duro Shed on line. We had already contracted someone else to pour the slab as we had a lot of concrete work to be done. So we drove to Bolton and spoke to Rob. He was a wonderful person to deal with, as were everybody else in the organization (Steve, John and Gary). There was a major hiccup that was not the fault of Duro Shed. But they were there for us all the way. Finally the day arrived that they could start assembling and 2 1/2 days later we had our garage. In this age of shady contractors and shoddy workmanship, Duro Shed showed that there are still some great companies out there. The bonus is that our garage was a fraction of the cost of a new garage further down the lane.

We needed to fix up our porch and part of the project was to replace the railings. We were able to pick exactly what we wanted from the o fort of our home. They measured, manufactured and installed the railings. The final product looks fabulous. Our only criticism is that the final clean up was very poor.

Their equipment did a lot of blowing and sucking and some of the obvious areas were clean (behind registers and where they opened the ducts). But they left an absolute mess behind. There was crap covering our washer and dryer and other areas of the basement. And I am sure that when they were blowing stuff down the supply duct, a lot of it went to the cooling coil pan (including a walnut). They drain in the coil got plugged and we ended up with water all over the floor. My wife thinks we got bamboozled and I agree with her.

To find a contractor that you can trust, and who communicates well is so refreshing. Not only is Patrick supported by a great team of carpenters, tilers, tapers, etc., but he also has a stable of superb sub contractors to do the plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and is great at solving on site issues. Patrick’s office manager, Kevin was also always available, and his weekly updates made us feel at ease regarding the progress of the job. You can count on Faroe Woodworks to get your project done to a high standard, with every detail looked after. Peter and Valerie Elton
