Manny was the only guy who followed up on my inquiry on homestars. He made the appointment, confirmed in the morning and just before arrival. He showed me the mess to be cleaned and then showed the results and asked if I was satisfied. That is great customer service.

We needed a new railing going upstairs but realized that the carpeted stairs also needed to go. As with all jobs, one thing led to another and we decided to replace the steps and the landing flooring at the bottom of the stairs as well as the hallway upstairs. The care they took to attach to the 7 carpeted doorways, ensuring that the new flooring looked the best in terms of the uneven space, ensuring the fit on the rounded edge of the stairs and the minutiae that make the difference between a good job and a great one. They did what they said, came when they promised and handled the 'household surprises' that popup with non straight walls etc. to ensure the end result was satisfactory to us along the way.

We had a minor gas leak by the stove that was intermittent. However with some effort they found that the flex hose to the stove would leak only if it was in a certain position. They also found that the original install of the feed line was not quite right and should be corrected for the future. Careful team and kept covid protocols for our protection.

S&S are my Go To HVAC people after several jobs. They keep to a schedule, keep you informed and of course do good work. More importantly they look for ways to improve your situation by correcting things that are required, letting you know what to watch for and making suggestions to help. The technicians are very qualified and they are polite. But even better they smile and seem to enjoy their work. What more can you ask.

I have been a client for 13 years and never had an issue. When we have had a power disruption, restoration has been a trivial exercise. Recently I had phone line issues and ST suggested I migrate to an Internet connection for a more solid line. The installation changeover was simple, convenient and quite quick. Peter ensured I could use the new system on my phone and at the new keypad before he left. Continues to work the same way, no surprises. Customer Service cares when we need.

Many clients today are eliminating their phone line and need to migrate their alarm connection over to a different communication pathway such as cell or internet. Usually at this time we will install an app on the clients smart phone so that they are able to manage the alarm from their phone.

My 3.5 year old gas fireplace would not start at the start of the season. I called S&S, the installers, to figure it out since the manual gave no indication on troubleshooting that worked. They first tried to help with suggestions over the phone, advising that the sequence of activation was 'finicky' for this line. The onsite expert checked all the obvious spots and after consulting other techs, deduced that one piece of equipment Must be the culprit, since no other option made sense. They replaced the part and everything worked just fine. Key to the success was the methodical approach they took to eliminating the obvious places first, keeping me aware of progress and maintaining cleanliness throughout. True professionals. We then had them also replace our 20 year old furnace because they were competitively priced and I bet the professionalism would continue. It DID.
