Have rooftop patio with french doors. Needed a thin screen to allow me to keep the doors open all spring/summer/fall. I saw a Phantom Screen at a friends house and knew it would be my perfect solution. Called and organized a measurement, received a quote and had them installed a week or two later. Had them for two years now and I would definitely buy again.

Hi James, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments. Phantom Screens are truly a multi-season product. We're glad you're enjoying them through spring, summer and fall.

So when we first purchased our house we had an old rooftop deck with leaking roof and french doors to match! I replaced the roof and the french doors and that is how is stayed for 7 years. My wife's birthday was coming up and I heard great things about Paul and his crew; so I decided that a great birthday present is to have a professional, personable, and honest carpenter and crew come a build a brand new rooftop deck. They were great, I will be calling PTR Carpentry again to do a job my wife is drawing up now, and my family has been living on the rooftop deck since it has be completed. I look forward to working with Paul again.

Alex and Mario are the best. The posts went in on a miserable rainy day and two days later the fence was complete. I highly recommend them to anyone. My backyard finally has some fences that allow privacy. A job well done. Thanks for everything.

In October 2008 I had a dryer belt split. Being very technical I provided everything required to this company (make, model, and belt part number)since I took the dryer apart. Driver/tech comes out 4 business days later with nothing in hand and brings an invoice for $88.14 just for showing up. I have a newborn in my house and the clothes and towels are building up... How disappointed am I that they have no parts? Very! I told the guy that this service is not service at all and that I'm very disappointed. Five months later I get an invoice saying I owe $88.14... You don't work for the money you don't get paid. Received second invoice saying they are going to send it to a collection agency who just screw up your credit rating without just cause. I just got off the phone now with the Office Manager and explained she should read this site because I'm not the only person pissed off with them. I bit the bullet and paid the invoice but I will never in my life allow anyone I know deal with this company. Especially when people like Brannan's Appliance Repair Ltd. come the next day with parts in hand and fix the problem in 20 minutes.

$88.14
What could this company do to improve their services?
Actually have parts in hand to get the job done.

My wife just finished vacuuming the house and was complaining the good old D!rt Devil was a piece of trash... So I went out and bought the latest Dyson DC25. I vacuumed the house (all 3 floors) and I emptied the contents into my Green Bin. My wife unpacked the new Dyson and put it together in like 3 minutes and fired it up. As she finished the main floor I finished the 3rd floor. At first she didn't like the 'ball' but then noticed the contents of the collection bin. She moved up to the 2nd floor where the carpeted bedrooms are. That is when I heard "Oh my God! The carpets look new... This thing floats across the floor... Can you go empty the bin please?" We don't have pets but the previous owner did and this thing pulled cat hair out of crevices which I assume was behind the baseboards. This thing is awesome. I highly recommend this vacuum. As for the people complaining about Zorb not being readily available. Send an email to Canadian Tire or whereever you purchased your vacuum and ask them to bring it into the store for you.

I admit I called another company first... and they said it would be 4 business days until someone could come out. (I called on a Thursday afternoon)Which means by some miracle someone might call me on Tuesday. Never listening to the manufacturer's suggestions again. With a new baby in house... dry clothes and blankets were a must. Steve swooped in with the part in hand and fixed it in 20 minutes...

Gino drywalled my living room and ceiling, as well as the joining hallway. He did a fantastic job and did it quickly. I recommend him and his work. My wife on mat leave even sang along with him as he was working she told me. So if you want to hire a grumpy contractor don't hire Gino because he was singing and happy at all times.
