Wish to thank Paul for all his efforts to complete this long overdue project (from our end). Paul took care of us from the get go. He told us exactly what to expect, when, and obviously the cost. Since we replaced our windows close to Christmas 2011, we were worried about timing. Rest assured, Paul came through with flying colours. The installers were very courteous and very professional. I couldn't believe how quickly the job was done. I highly recommend Creative Distinction Window and Doors. We had over 20 companies give us pricing over the last couple of years and I was very impressed with the performance rating of the windows (Energy Star), the detailing and the overall look.

Approximate cost of services:
$15,000.00

Do your homework. Check out the Energy Star rating website to find out the performance of the windows...not all windows are created equally. Stay away from builder grade windows, unless it's your preference. I had my window frame and sash filled with foam for added strength, but not all manufacturers offer this.

Company Response

Thank you for the kind review Ben. Once again it was my pleasure. I always try to reinsure my customers with detailed information from the start to completion of the project without any surprises. Enjoy the warmth and beautiful look of the new windows.

When our washing machine broke down, we decided it was time to purchase a new washer and dryer set. We shopped around to all the big box stores, some online stores, and even some scratch and dent places. Our dryer is gas so we were limited on what was out there and the sales that the big box stores had 'never' had an option for a gas dryer. My wife wanted a large capacity front load and we decided that Whirlpool or Maytag would fit our requirements. We further decided on the Whirlpool as it was on sale. After searching high and low, I decided to pay Quan's in Concord a visit..after all this is where we purchased our original appliances. Darren took care of use very well and was able to rush us the appliances. They were offering a 5 year parts and labour warranty as part of their sale and their prices were really good.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Give a call the day of delivery on the approximate time of delivery. No body wants to wait in limbo for a day for a delivery that takes about an hour. But it's like that with 99% of delivery guys.

Research, research, research. Do your homework and understand the features before you go into stores. There are so many options with different manufacturers. We chose Whirlpool (which bought Maytaf) as the workhorses for washers and dryers. They've been in the market for the longest time. If you can, go gas dryer. It saves money and heats up instantly. Gas dryers are really big in Europe and can't understand why anybody would go electric in Canada. We chose the steam option for the dryer only...it saved us about $400. They say a steam washer removes hard to remove stains but the jury is still out on that one. My wife uses Shout and works just fine. We chose the steam feature on the dryer to remove wrinkles when the laundry sits in there a while. Also, check out this website to review washer and dryers: http://www.reviews-washer-dryer.com/ Happy buying.
