I don't know why Home-Stars allows anonymous reviews from someone who may or may not have used my company years ago, it's hard to respond. I am glad the Move itself went well, great price and no damages. I give guaranteed pricing if an extra man showed up to speed up the move the hourly rate would be higher to pay the mover his wages, the overall price would be the same!. The start time is 9-9:15 am not 8:00am Today my company has 2 offices, all Customers have my personal cell number and Email address which I get immediately on my phone. We do not have a dispatch number as this review mentions. This was a small move of only $700.00 plus tax it would fit in our smallest truck which obviously is a better price, we don't move propane tank's, paints, flammable items, sometimes we have to tell customers this on moving day. We also take regular cheques if Movers asked for cash it wasn't necessary and I give guaranteed pricing, we also collect the bill now after the Truck is unloaded and take the risk of not getting paid. The Customer is never overcharged. I have an A plus rating with the BBB and was ranked the Top Mover in the G.T.A by Royal Lepage Canada, go to mandmmovingsystems.ca reference section for more details. I always suggest people check the BBB on Movers. My company has been in business since 1988. Sorry about the $65.00 scratch on your floor, I did give you free replacement value insurance with a $150.00 deductible so I understand the frustration, I also did give you a guaranteed price. Its unfortunate you didn't call me 6 month ago to discuss this. I sent 2 trucks at my expense to speed up the move. Brent

I am not sure if you realize a 7 means average, it's a flaw in Home-Stars. I realize you are moving to Mexico so you probably won't use my company again this answer affects the score rating. I know you told me you were very happy with the service and no complaints so thanks for the review! I don't ask for a 10 like some companies. The main thing is no damage, on time, good service and low price. Usually I get a 8-10 for this service, some tough critics out there!

Thanks Kelly! I know we saved you money from other movers as well and of course no damage to anything. The guys are pro's and know how to protect stairways without hurting themselves or doing any damage , they have done this Thousands of times, usually they just use non marking shoe's on stair cases, sometimes the customer talks them into using blankets on stairs which actually isn't necessary.
