review because Modern Appliances helped me fix my fridge issue. This happened a few months ago. My parents Whirlpool fridge stopped working and I was looking for someone to help fix it. After sending requests for quotes on Homestars, multiple companies replied with their quotes. However, Modern Appliances suggested we turn our fridge off for 24 hours and then turn it back on to see if it would fix our issue. It did and we were extremely grateful.
I think Modern Appliances didn't need to give me a solution to try because it wasn't to their best interest. They could have sent us their quotes like all other companies, came over to make a quick buck with an easy solution. They gave me the solution free of charge. I think that shows integrity and if I have any issues with my appliances in the future, I would definitely hire them because I feel I can trust them.
