Grove Eco-friendly Pest Control

Very satisfied with the services of Erik and Grove Eco-Friendly Pest Control. A juvenile crow had flown into our chimney on Sunday and could not get out. By Tuesday, we were worried that the bird would not survive. Our regular pest control was not able to come out until Saturday. We contacted a number of other pest control companies and they said they would not be able to handle the situation. We phoned the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society and they recommended Grove Pest Control. Grove was able to come out the same afternoon and assessed the problem. Erik stayed for an hour and tried various solutions. Due to
the shape of our fireplace flue, it was seemingly impossible to rescue the crow without breaking through the brickwork - this, of course, was not doable. We thought that nothing more could be done and Erik left. It was obvious that Erik cares very much about animals and was disappointed that he couldn't rescue the crow. About 30 minutes later, Erik returned. He had contacted a face-book group he belonged to with members from all over the world and he had come up with an ingenious solution for rescuing the crow. We were so impressed with Erik's caring and persistence. He was able to pull the crow from the top of the chimney with a glue-trap and then removed the glue-trap from the crow with
great care with olive oil. Erik was so calm, caring and gentle with the crow. The crow would have died in our chimney without Erik's diligence. He then drove the crow to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital and said that $20 of our fee would be a donation to that organization. We highly recommend the services of Grove Eco-Friendly Pest Control and were so impressed by the competence, ingenuity and professionalism which Erik displayed.
