We were so grateful to have Rio come out and do some last minute trenching for us when our original option fell through. It was the very end of the season and even though everyone seemed to be booked up, they went out of their way to squeeze us in. We found them to be courteous, professional and highly recommend them.

Impressed from the get-go. The Rio team were really enthusiastic about the challenging and complex project. They were very willing to work with me to refine and adapt the design as it came together.
It gave confidence when I heard the crew laughing and enjoying the team feel. Didn't feel like anybody was doing the minimum.
The design called for mixed gravel/rock to simulate a dry streambed and ponds, with areas of wood mulch. There was a fair number of small plants and shrubs - but wasn't intended to be fully populated.
They also did a patio-block patio area - really careful to get it right, - fencing, concrete sidewalks and a landing from the stairs, and used existing block to complete a sidewalk down the side of the house, again, meticulously laid, leveled, and grouted.
The dry pond was intended to prevent water pooling near the house on the previously flat lot. It served well in recent rain/hailstorms (see picture below).
I get lots of positive comments. Frequently see people (as the song says) "slowin' down to take a look" (just not at me!)

Rio Landacaping did a wonderful job building some challenging boulder steps leading off our retaining wall. The rest of the landscaping work was completed excellent as well. Carlie, and crew went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the final product. I would highly recommend Rio Landscaping for any landscaping projects.

Over the winter last year, I got lazy and started letting my two dogs do their business in the backyard. In the spring, what was already a poor looking lawn, was absolutely devastated with huge dead patches. I decided I wanted to replace the lawn and considered, some options, including installing a clover lawn. That idea got scrapped when I read that clover lawns attract bees, and wasps. Flag stones were the next best option. Rio industries were quick to respond to my request on home stars and provided me with a quote that was reasonable. They impressed me with their enthusiasm and willingness to talk options. The work started within the next couple of weeks and was completed in under a day and a half. I was pleased with the results, and with the fact that the people doing the work went over and above to provide service. One thing I particularly appreciated, was the responsiveness in terms of communication. Carlie was very good about keeping me informed on the progress she was making getting the quote together, and was very consistent in returning phone calls. In short, I would highly recommend this company. You will get fast, friendly service, and excellent work. I will enjoy not having to mow my lumpy backyard And Im looking forward to having groundcover grow between the stones.

I hired Rio to help me on some dirt moving work on one of my job sites. And the Rio team was very reliable, hardworking and hit their deadlines. They are very ambitious and Im extremely happy with the work they provided me. I will be using them on future projects moving forward and to future customers you are in good hands with Rio working on your projects.

Wonderful job done by them. I cannot thank you enough as this was a mess. Previous contractor I have to fire due to incompetency and they came help me out. Finish the job on time and wonderful people. Ill give them 11 out of 10.

Rio regraded my yard and installed drainage and decorative rock to improve drainage near a concrete retaining wall. Rio did the work that was requested, in time and on budget.

Rio did an excellent job of grading, gravel and sod in our back yard and installed a beautiful large stone fire pit. It solved all of our water pooling issues during rain and snow melt. Customer service from Carlie and the crew on scene was courteous, professional and everything was done exactly as discussed.
