Jay was outstanding in getting this done quickly and professionally and we were quite surprised that the price tag was SO much more reasonable than the quotes we'd received from other companies.
The workmanship was the best we've had and Jay made sure we were 100% satisfied. This guy doesn't hesitate to go the extra mile if that's what the job requires. He's friendly, flexible with his schedule and enjoys doing the little extras that make the difference.
Although this was the first time we've used HomeStars, it most certainly won't be the last... RBJ Contracting is, bar none, the best contractor we've ever used and we wouldn't hesitate to call them for other projects. I only wish I'd taken "before/after" photos to show the outstanding work that was done. You have GREAT taste, Jay and thanks so much for the little extras!

I wanted to change our shower in the basement to a bathtub and retile the floor. The shower had the drain higher than the bathtub and therefore the basement floors needed to be cut open and have new drain pipes installed. My first contractor as soon as he realized that he had to cut open the concrete just walked away saying that the work was beyond his scope. So I was in a bind and hired a second contractor to do the work quickly. He cut the floors open and stopped working on it as he had other jobs on the go. This went on for about a 3 weeks. Him promising that it will be done by the next weekend. After 3 weeks he told me that he can’t fit the bathtub through the basement door and it was impossible to install my bathtub in the basement…… booom.
At this time I have contacted Jay .He was professional and reassuring . He said that he will find a way to take my bathtub down into the basement and install it. The bathtub was in the basement the same day and Jay started his magic. He did an excellent job with the tiling of the bathroom floor too.
On a side note Jay also fixed my pocket door in the basement that hasn’t been working for the past 30 years free of charge.

This project can easily take some people some weeks to complete. Jay completed this time consuming tedious project with 1 helper in a weekend. Amazing! Jay took the time to make sure everything is lined up the way it should and put sealant on every possible gaps. He explained things clearly and responded promptly. Yet his work speaks louder than his words. Professional overall. We are happy to hire RBJ.

Amazing company. We are beyond happy with the service provided as well as the final result. We had a side entrance that was falling apart. RBJ Contracting came in and made it better than we could ever imagine. To say it was done professionally is an understatement. Great eye to detail and very beautiful. We didn't have to do anything. He redesigned the whole thing to make it more functional as, well as strong. They went above and beyond making it a great experience. The quality of work is incredible. We are beyond happy and feel confident we have our go to contractor for all our future projects.
